This is the perfect example of how one place can change overnight from being great to be really bad. Recently, they switched ownership ( the reason why I know it's because I've been a regular loyal customer for quite a while), and that has given me the opportunity to know about the switch. I did meet the new owner who it seemed a very nice and professional man and my first question to him was if he planned to keep the same employees because not only were they great, but the food was fenomenal. Have you heard the famos saying, " IF IS NOT BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT" well, that's exactly what happened. Yesterday, when I picked up my food as I've been doing it for a long time now, as soon as I got home and tried it, I automatically noticed the difference. The sup was salty, the moros tasted like if it was kept for two days and was just reheated, and I can go on about the food, but what really disappointed me the most was the fact that when I called the restaurant to talk about my concerns, the lady on the other side of the phone ( she is one of the new crew, sadly the previus crew has been replaced) she didn't even care to offer an apology but instead she became defensive to the point where I decided that it wasn't worth for me to continue having what it could be a positive and very constructive critique. Situations like this make loyal customers like me to walk away and never to return. I truly hope that this post helps to improve what I couldn't freely say over...

As someone who often enjoys the Rinconcito restaurants in Kendal (#2, #3 & #5) I thought I'd try Rinconcito Superlatinos hoping they'd offer a similar experience down here (even though they weren't part of same ownership group).
After looking at the menu, I asked my server for a cafe con leche with no sugar, which for some reason seemed to be somewhat of inconvenience. I was told that the coffee was already made ahead of time with sugar already mixed. I advised due to dietary reasons I would like one with no sugar and my server begrudgingly agreed. Along with the coffee, I ordered the breakfast special: scrambled eggs, with sausage and house potatoes.
The eggs were dry and overcooked, the potatoes were decent, the sausage links were good but wish it came with a 3rd instead of just the 2 small links. Cuban bread with butter was fresh and crispy. Never saw my server again.
The prices were good, and with so many other good reviews I'm willing to try them again...
Read moreI recently ordered takeout and was surprised to find that the prices online didn’t match what I was charged. When I went to pay, I was told the administration had changed and the prices hadn’t been updated yet. Once I got home, I noticed the meals I’ve ordered before were not only more expensive, but the portions were noticeably smaller.
The large soup, which used to come with a small rice, no longer includes it. On top of that, the soup was mostly large chunks of potato that filled up the container, which felt like a way to cut corners. The beef dish was about half the size of what it used to be.
To be fair, the food didn’t taste bad—but it’s hard to justify paying more for significantly less. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll...
