Horrible.

  1. The Carnitas burrito tasted like someone shredded some pork and then decided to boil it in water and rinse off any flavoring or seasoning that may have been on it, then mixed it with flavorless refried beans, and wrapped up in a burrito. My husband, who is not particularly choosy especially when it comes to Mexican food, had to get up and go to the bathroom and spit out his bite because it made him nauseated.
  2. It took around 20 minutes to get a glass of water brought to our table. Another five or so to get chips.
  3. I asked for a side of sour cream, and was brought a side of ranch dressing. It took another five minutes or so before I decided to just get up and ask a different waitress for sour cream. I was still charged for it, of course.
  4. This may just be a regional style, however I have eaten a lot of authentic Mexican food (grew us in a smaller version of Little Mexico in the Midwest, and have very close friends of the family from Mexico) and have yet to experience cloves, as a heavy seasoning, in my beef brisket. Until tonight. Did not care for this.
  5. Last, but not least, ended the night with us both clearly not eating our food with plates pushed away and then after a while was finally asked if we wanted the check. Was told it'd be right out; after 7 minutes I decided we would just stand up and then maybe that would get out waitresses attention to bring us the check. That...

I've lived in homestead all my life (28 yrs) and I recently started coming to this restaurant about two months ago because many of my friends had recommended it. Prior to this I would go to Florida city and Krome ave for Mexican food. But this place is now my #1 go to spot for all Mexican food. I used to go to one spot for tacos and another spot for burritos and another spot for tortas/chimichangas but this place has it ALL and it's ALLL SOOO GOOOD. Now I can finally go to 1 place and know that no matter what I order it's going to be amazing. The restaurant is also spacious so it doesn't feel like you're sitting right next to people and the atmosphere is great. Everything is clean, even the bathrooms. And the music that is played is authentic Mexican music. I normally order the Al Pastor tacos and get it without pineapples but you can have pineapple with it if you want. The meat is super flavorful and they really fill the taco with mucho carne. My dad normally orders the same but today he got the fajitas and according to him the shrimp was very fresh and plump and juicy and high quality. They also have a little condiment bar where you can serve yourself pico-de-gallo, cilantro, onions, salsa, and many other things. This is definitely my go to Mexican spot from now on. 10/10 would...

My family and i have been there a few times this was definitely not the 1st. The food is alright. I've tasted better. Now let me tell you we just went a few days ago and I was caught by suprise when it was down to paying time. They brought me my check which said my total was $57 and some change. Ok, I gave them my credit card.. funny enough i always receive a text alert right there and then when i use my card, So the text comes in and i was charged incorrectly! I was charged $68 and some change. In other words about $11 more. Mind you taxes were already included on the $57 total and tip you leave afterwards with how much you want. So ofcourse I waited for the girl to come back and i showed her what had happen. You can tell by the look on her face and the fact that she didn't know what to say that she was caught by suprise that i noticed it. Sooo she tells me "noooo we charged your card the $57". Lady iam showing you the text where its clear that taqueria morelia successfully charged my card $68 something. Well nooo, They didn't wanna admit to their screw up. So i said ok, Consider those $11 your tip cause i am not leaving anything else. I will never go back. God knows to how many other ppl they do this too. Luckily i got the alert immediately but not...

Great authentic tacos, very good quality ingredients. Fresh cilantro and onions they put on the side in little plastic cups (because of the pandemic). They have many different flavors of meats, it's hard to choose sometimes. But most menu items are reasonable enough to order a couple different ones. The guacamole is very good. Definitely not from a can or pouch. Made fresh in house. It is a little small for three people, but perfect size for two people as an appetizer. I will definitely be going back again. There were office workers, men from the military base, construction workers, tourists, a good diverse crowd there that day for lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating. It was fairly busy, almost every table was full for lunch at 1pm. They did clean and sanitize tables between customers. The waitress got our order quickly, brought out our food quickly, but the check, took almost longer than it took to eat everything. But it was a busy place, so I'll chalk it up to that.
