I went for an appointment to get my dog spayed. I made the appointment online and received a very general email to be at the site at 7 am. I would need proof of residence and proof of rabies vaccination. I arrived at 7 am and was told to stay in the car. Around 8:30 am or so I was one step closer to starting the appointment. A staff member verified my paperwork for vaccination and I was eventually allowed in by a nice guy in a purple polo. My dog was weighed, her chip was verified and then I waited some more. My dog sat in a cage and I in a chair waiting for the front desk to attend us. What I thought would take an hour tops was starting to hit the 2 hour mark. Once attended by the front desk I started getting asked about the rabies vaccine. I provided proof as the email stated but they wanted a certificate. The health certificate wasn’t enough. Once I agreed to have my dog vaccinated redundantly just to go through with getting spayed they told me it would be $80 +. I thought ok it’s more but let’s do it. I drove an hour to Homestead and found myself having to postpone work meetings because this was looking like an all day affair. Once that was also squared away they said they needed certification for the chip. Smh. No where in the email or in any information I read was this asked for. At this point it’s about 9:45 am. The front desk at this place creates such a bottle neck for this place. There is a huge lack of efficiency and consideration for people’s time and effort in complying with vague instructions. Aside from the front desk piecemealing information they blame another aspect of the organization when I’m upset. Honestly it’s all the same to me. I left with my dog. There were two kind staff members: the woman in scrubs who came out to the car and the gentleman inside w/ a purple polo. Sadly their kindness can’t carry the lack of professionalism and inefficiency of this place. I feel bad for all the people told to come pick up their pets at 2 pm. By the time they leave they’ll be stuck in rush hour with a drugged up pet wanting...
Read moreI scheduled my dog to get neutered at this site. I was honestly impressed at how well and organized the staff was. I drove in I was greeted and asked to remain in the car. I was assigned a number and given paperwork to fill out in the car. I waited to be called I also had the option to walk around the park so my dog could relieve himself. Once in my dog was weighted in and paperwork process was verified and payment taken. Then they took me to the crate my dog was going to be in. The place was very clean and i didn’t experience any bad oder. Everything was very clean. They had washer and dryer in the facility sheets were be clean.. I honestly was very impressed. The staff was helpful, very nice and pleasant. I was given instructions to pick him around 2pm picked him up, I was assisted all the way to my car. Read moreAfter dropping our kitten off for neutering, we were told to come back at 3 for pick up. When we arrived, the staff said the doctor was Beni d and that it would be another hour and a half before we could get our cat back... Since we live in west Kendall, We called to be sure if the surgery was complete before heading back. There was a mix up and the staff member stated the surgery couldnt be performed. We told the person we were on the way. The weather was rainy and it was rush hour. We arrived at the clinic at 5:44 only to find lights off and doors locked. The staff knew we were on the way but did not remain at the clinic for us. Now we do not know whether outlet kitten is still inside or at the Doral location . nobody is available to answer questions... This is very sub par service and all of Miami Dade will hear about this. I am hoping...
