OHenry's Coffees — Restaurant in Homewood

O'Henry's is my favorite local coffee shop in Birmingham. The Brookwood location is in a prime area as it is right off of Lakeshore Drive and close to I-65, Columbiana Road/Greensprings Hwy, and Highway 280. The coffee shop is very cozy and eclectic. There are three booths and a few tables downstairs. My favorite spot, however, is the loft upstairs, which is generally more quiet and can be reserved for group meetings.

I spent many of my days studying here while in law school at Cumberland and always make a point to stop by when I am visiting family and friends in Birmingham. My favorite is their A.P.B. smoothie and breakfast panini. I also love their various breads, cakes, and pastries -- you can't go wrong with their pumpkin bread.

I’ve been going to this ohenrys for a very long time, as well as other Ohenrys in general but this was my home store and used to be, all of the workers were very kind and always happy (this is coming from someone who works at a coffee shop) but within the last few months its seemed like every new person either hated their life or just hated the customers, probably both lol. Anyway i stopped coming here because why would i get coffee from someone who is rude so I started going to the one off 280 (everyone is much nicer/happier there) however I came back to this one because i had a meeting down the road and the person who took my order was so rude, she sighed and rolled her eyes when she came to the register and her tone was so rude as if i was a nuisance. i hate to see this place go so down hill with all the...

Quiet, calm, smooth jazz music, polite staff. One of the most amazing coffee roasters in the state. Pricy, yet for the coffee connoisseurs it is a must if you are visiting Birmingham or if you live in the area. Symbolic of upper class, of fair trade, of ethical methods of doing business & how to build a reliable community relationship with consumers. Keep an eye out if they expand! They have all the right ✅️ mix for substantial growth! I wish more local restaurants would carry thier brand, it would be so lovely to see a new up & coming chain to pair with this incredible coffee.
