Ordered dinner on the app. The app had a weird glitch where it posted a message saying to try again and if issues persist to call the store. I was ready to call the store and place my order when I got an approved and withdrawn transactions from my bank, from Dominoes stating the charge was approved and dominoes took the money. Figured it went through on their end. I head to the store and ask for pickup. They say they don't have it. The lady making the food recalls my order and states that they had STARTED making it and then the order canceled on THEIR end. After explaining my side and showing her my bank statement showing the charges went through, she said they would make my order.
She tells her (who I assume was her supervisor/manager) coworker and the coworker is immediately saying no. She comes to talk to me about things and states I will need to pay AGAIN for my order. I state I will NOT pay and that I have already paid and show my bank statements to her as well. She says they don't have it in the system, I tell her that's not true because the other lady just pulled up my exact order and read it back to me. She says I have no proof that it was paid for. I again show my bank statements (for the 3rd time now, twice to the SAME person) and she reads it. Then says I will need to pay. I state I am NOT paying and will leave if I get a refund. She says no refund and that they would "cover" my meal.
I got my food no further issues. It was great.
Customer service starting out was good. The 2nd lady I talked to not so much. I didn't blame any of them for the system issues, I just wanted my food I was charged for and offered an alternate way forward in the form of a refund. Repeatedly telling me I had no proof with not one but 2 confirmatj8ns of purchase for the same amount the app showed and had the merchant name on my bank statement is gas lighting and was not appreciated.
I hope the store reviews their system and how it processes mobile orders made through the app. The 2nd lady made it sound like this is a common issue yet they just charge people twice...
Read moreDo not waste your time here, take your business elsewhere. This establishment is poorly managed, with no accountability whatsoever. Below is my most recent encounter with this Domino's, although I have previously had other negative experiences involving miscommunication and lack of accountability.
I ordered a pizza online for carryout. At the counter upon pickup, one employee was getting berrated by a manager that made for an uncomfortable situation, so I took my food and left. After arriving home I saw that one of the pizzas was totally incorrect. I called to ask about a solution, and was blamed by the employee on the phone for incorrectly ordering it. Then, I was told that if I wanted a new one I would need to bring the complete pizza back to them. I asked to speak to management, and was told I couldn't because they were on "break."
After negotiating with this employee on the phone, I was told they would deliver the pizza to my house and they expected the complete other pizza to be returned. There was emphasis on the pizza remaining untouched, which it was because nobody would eat the pizza anyways because it was made incorrectly. Still, as ridiculous as it is to demand the pizza remain unadulterated (what are they going to do, recycle it??), I obliged and told my family not to touch it. I waited for 40 minutes before calling back only to be told the pizza wasn't delivered because they did not know the address (which is clearly on my account).
I was able to magically speak to a manager after this last encounter who refunded me the cost of the pizza. This doesn't make up for the fact that I now have a cold pizza nobody likes and will go in the trash or make up the disappointment to my hungry kids who were excited to have pizza.
I will keep my business with the competition from here forward, as this establishment obviously does not care about it's customers...
Read moreI’m trying to order thru phone with George. Since I received a discount from Dominos Fort Shafter I wanted to try the promos that they sent me. Of course, I never try ordering promos before that’s why I wanted to ask what’s the inclusions for that pizza. George told me dollar fifty for every toppings and and I understand that. Since I wanted to have some more toppings on my order, George feels irritated and hang up the phone. I keep on calling back and he still hung up the phone. This is not acceptable of his attitude towards the costumers and I’m willing to pay for extra as long I’m satisfied with his service. I called again the number and looking for the manager but George pretending he’s not the one whom I spoke earlier and he hung up the phone again. He’s totally RUDE and arrogant costumer service.
I called for the last time and Godfrey answered the phone and he politely told me that the manager is not around. I’m not going to stop this until George says Sorry of what attitude he did to me. Sorry, I not mean but I don’t like the way he treated me as a customer.
