We made a trip here to this establishment because we had not tried Brick House drive-in yet. Even though it was a bit out of the way, they had a large menu and I was looking forward to trying it out. Of course, my go to thing is Lobster. I always ask how lobster rolls are prepared when I'm at a new place because anyone who knows Lobster rolls well enough, knows there are -many- styles to having lobster on a roll. Anyway, the lady was very nice and said it was just mayo, celery, lobster and a bun. She also added if I didn't like it that way, they could do it with plain or with just butter. I insisted the way it comes will be perfect! I was quite excited about it actually because that's exactly how I love them best. Anyway, yes, there were others also waiting to order and pick up their food, so I was perfectly content with waiting for our food. When my order was called, I approached the window and I almost thought this was someone elses order. Mostly everything was wrapped but the lobster roll. The roll was very small, literally a hot dog bun that was not even opened up. On the bun, was lettuce and a small amount of lobster on top. On top of that appeared to be seafood seasoning. I mentioned to the lady handing out my order that this was not what was described to me. Still, everyone was pleasant at this point. The lady looked at my slip and called someone else over. So she asked me how I would like it, and I explained just how it usually comes with celery, mayo, lobster and bread. The lady said okay no problem and walked off with it. I could see some confusion among the staff on the line preparing food. There seemed to be a debate on how they made their own lobster rolls right in front of me. Then, someone else came up to me and asked me how I wanted it. Then the lady who took my order originally asked me how I "invision it to look." A comment a bit unnecessary I think. This was so embarrassing at this point because there's a huge line of people behind me and I would have just taken what they had given me at that point but they already took it back to "fix it". So I had just politely asked for a refund on it that it was no worries. The lady said no no it's fine let us fix it for you. Once again, I politely declined because this was just such a huge thing already for no reason. I said no thank you just a refund is fine. It was at this point that the staff became very rude and loud about me wanting a refund. It was embarrassing. They continued to bicker back and forth about how nothing was wrong with it while I waited for a refund.
On a serious note, I have to wonder if the staff doesn't know the difference between lettuce and celery. If they told me it came with lettuce in the beginning, I definitely would have ordered something else. I'm definitely guilty of not looking at all the google photos before ordering but I guess I prefer to take the word of someone who works there as to what comes on their lobster roll.
Anyhow, the rest of the food was edible. The buffalo chicken sub was cut right through the wrapper and there was pieces of it in the sub. Their "cheeseburger" is mostly bread and cheese. Mac and cheese bites, were just edible. We did NOT go back in line after for dessert. The mood was obviously not great. They have an outdoor seating area which is falling apart in some areas. Didn't love it and will not be interested in a second visit. I waited a few days before writing this review so I have had plenty of time to think about how I wanted to word this because my intent is to never hurt a small business ever. However, clearly, something here is not right when staff argue like that in front of customers and make them feel bad. I've been in the business my entire life and if I treated all my customers the way I was treated that day, I would not be in business very long. However, it's my understanding they have been in business for 34+ years and my review isn't gonna crush them. But good luck with the next 34+...

2 days later, we are back for lunch, which was pricey, as usual, but good....we go there frequently for a meal and/or ice cream....my hubby brought the issue of the bad fish sandwich up to one of the owners attention .....she told my hubby that next time he should call instead of writing a bad review and walked off without refunding our money or asking if we wanted another sandwich......hmmmmmm.....they know us there, we have spent a fair amount of money there and are treated like that.....I am guessing they are no longer on our list of good places to eat and the word shall be past on....totally disappointed in the owners!!

Yes, the ice cream issue was resolved quickly and friendly....however, even an owner said she didn't like it either .....so why would you serve it to your customers?? ....And we had no intention of returning to your establishment anyway and take a chance on getting sick.... The decent thing to do would have been to refund our money or offer another sandwich in place of or take the price off our entre today....you make it sound like the fish sandwich was purchased many days ago, when in fact, it was two an a half days ago....and it's not like we live around the corner...... Very disappointed in a small business that appears not to care about their long time paying customers....yes, we wish you all the best, as well....... what happened to the good old days of kindness...
Read moreThe Cons: Horribly overpriced, quantity/price/portion ratio way higher than area/region resturants! Burger acted like a blend maybe of hamburg/cheaper something meat and acted like not homemade as instructed they do. Both our burgers, 1 solid tough overcooked, 1 barely cooked and was red, we shouldn't ask twice for cook right at these prices. Buns not toasted/grilled as should automatically be, they become mushy too soon with condiments added. Not enough veggies with hamburger, shouldn't have to ask. We didn't get our coleslaw so went to ask, came with 4 oz. plastic container too small AND "FROZEN" at that, we threw this meal away! The meal sucked, overpriced, will never go back and will tell everyone! CONS: The onion rings were homemade really great but we each got about 10 very small rings each on an upgraded price! The best area O-rings, Giovanni's exit #5 I-93 Londonderry, period and a huge bunch, these rings are award winning!! Buy and compare. The sitting areas are nice, porta John clean, nice setting to enjoy. Review: These people aren't here for the customers, they don't take enough pride/Quality of the foods they represent and don't offer many options of choice with the pre-formatted specials/Offers. We are a couple who tests and trys ALL area resturants/Eating establishments to help others make a well informed transparent and...
