To the RACIST, angry, immature, unprofessional head waitress that talked to my mom like she was stupid because she was trying to get out of the crowded line after paying:
You’re a terrible person. You thought she was alone and insulted her after she bowed her head and apologized for going under the rope. But you quickly realized her whole family was there to protect her from your racist, sarcastic, belittling behavior.
For context: There’s a rope everyone is suppose to keep clear of that the waitresses are only allowed to pass through to pick up orders.
My mom paid for her food, but due to the crowd, my mom made the innocent mistake of attempting to quickly go under the rope towards the exit. When my mom did this, she accidentally unhooked the rope. She was having a difficult time hooking the rope back on. She’s 70 years old, has social anxiety, and poor vision. I want to note she has a thick Asian accent.
Unhooking the rope to avoid the large crowd was my mom’s mistake (she was panicking due to the crowd). We acknowledge this was her mistake, she wasn’t thinking straight. She even apologized.
But how dare you speak to her the way you did. Instead of leading my 70 year old mom towards the exit and having a little empathy - you aggressively walk towards her and sarcastically insult her by saying “THERE’S A REASON WHY WE HAVE THAT ROPE” and rolled your eyes at her with disgust.
Once my brother (With no accent, straight from California born and raised) overheard you being condescending to my mother… he quickly checked you and reminded you that a little respect goes a long way. Funny how your energy disappeared once you realized my mom was the only one with an accent and you were facing someone that can match your energy. My brother and I are 100% born and raised in San Francisco - don’t get it twisted, we don’t let racism and ignorant people like you slide.
Lastly, when my brother asked to speak to your manager, you straight up lied and said “We DoNt HaVe AnY”. Ma’am, you act like you’re the only one that has ever been a server or in customer service, we knew you were lying. You even nervously laughed after my brother called you out like the toxic human that you are.
Anyways, the managers that apparently doesn’t exist magically appeared. They were great, empathetic, and sweet. And they had to apologize for your racist and rude behavior.
To my fellow Asians: stop supporting this place. If they allow racism with their waitress, I can only assume she’s not the only one. Disgusting waitress. Disgusting human. Ruining the reputation of this restaurant. The waitress should be fired as she clearly can’t handle working in a fast pace customer facing environment.
Date of incident: June 10, 2024 Time: 12 PM / Lunch time
Waitress description: -Ethnicity: Caucasian / Fake tan -Hair: Pony tail / Dark brown / Fake blondish highlights -Height 5’ 5” -Weight: 120-130 pounds, petite frame -Name: No name tag (I’m assuming this was intentional so we couldn’t call her out by name) -She appears to be one of the main waitresses...

Read moreWell- we were all looking forward to having crab on our vacation. We talked to the workers about the difference in crab. She said told us that they king crab were small so you get more. We order and within minutes our crab came out FREEZING! The crab had no taste at all. The lemon and the butter doesn’t help at all. The king crab was small and shafted being told we would get more it came out with one medium size leg and a mini leg. We went back and asked about since it was expensive and the older lady behind the counter just looked at us never greeted us and when we asked if the king crab die to what the cashier said to us she rudely said okay… then proceeded to say they don’t have a scale so if the “chef” thinks it doesn’t LOOK like enough then she will put more on the plate then she rudely took it out of our hands and said she will bring us a new one. We waited to ensure they wouldn’t mess with anything. The staff were all talking and looking at us and then they pulled out a scale that she didn’t have…. The “chef” pulled out the crab and then started weighing it and ensured she again gave the small legs with a smirk on her face. If you call a “chef” just opening up the oven and pulling it out then that’s your girl. The staff were rude, not friendly, didn’t even attempt to make anything right. And the food was cold. Definitely not worth the money or...
