Five Guys — Restaurant in Hoover

The food was not what I was expecting. The fries were mostly short-length nubs from the bottom of the prep sink. They were slightly overcooked, and I barely had any boardwalk-style fries in my bag, as they were all of a paltry length. The burger patties appeared to have been in an altercation with the person attending the grill, as they were battered, beaten, and bruised. While still juicy, they were structurally unable to withstand the force of my human hunger, and I was left lifting the remains of the patties off of the foil with the miniature-length potatoes. Perhaps some more agitation of the potatoes, and less physical violence against the hamburger patties, is in order. Visited this Five Guys twice in a month, and although the staff is nice, however my All the Way burgers never receive any tomatoes on them, even though I ordered them “All The Way.” I don’t understand why you guys are leaving off the tomatoes when the burger is supposed to be all the way, so that is my only complaint. I won’t be going back… Please check your burgers before leaving...

Fantastic visit! Second day open and the whole experience was great. Multiple workers greeted us when we arrived and quickly took our order. Got our food in about 10 minutes and it was all very good.
