The food was presented well but over priced for portion sizes. there seemed to be a lack of understanding when it comes to ordering Gluten Free. They have the typical up charge of $2 for tiny GF bread. If you’re GF I’d say ask about food prep and cross contaminated based on how I felt afterwards. I also ordered fries after specifically asking about how they were prepared and being told they were cooked in a dedicated fryer. The fries are actually cooked in a shared fryer which is important info if you eat GF for health reasons. The manager who brought the fries to the tables solution to me refusing them after finding out these fries were not GF was to “just not eat them”. I had to ask for a refund. I left feeling like I should have just ordered a salad or went somewhere else. 🤦🏽♀️ On the plus side although I came for food, the aesthetic was nice. A cute throwback to the 80’s metal lunchboxes and it was relatively clean.

Ordered from Melt tonight at work. Delivery was a little slow but it was through Grub Hub, so can’t hold that against Melt. Classic grilled cheese was good. Nice toasted buttery bread with multiple types of melted cheese in between. Good flavor. Steak fries were OK, but anytime you get fries delivered they are going to be soggy and no longer crisp. Food truck nachos had a good flavor. Tender pulled pork over kettle chips. (Not sure why they call them nachos) Kettle chips were crisp and warm. Nice melted cheese. BBQ sauce was sweet. Ranch/jalapeño sauce was not to spicy, but I ordered it without and got it anyway. Jalapeños were breaded and fried crisp. Over all a good meal. Take out always brings your food down a notch. So I will give them a try again in person next time. Would suggest that Melt double checks their orders before they send them out. Not bad, will try again.

This restaurant was a VERY pleasant surprise! The service was very fast and staff is equally welcoming and courteous. My entree was cooked to order, and served fresh and hot. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich was simply superb! In a era where McDonald's, Burger King and other chain restaurants NO LONGER offer GRILLED options, THIS restaurant is a bonafide BREATH OF FRESH AIR! The generous portion of fresh cut chicken breast was seasoned to perfection, giving plenty of robust flavor and it was also succulently juicy, tender and savory. Also the fresh cut seasoned fries were a delectable addition that complemented the sandwich extremely well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND a visit here if you're ever in the Hoover AL. area! Here's hoping we get a chain of THESE throughout AL.

On 11/08 we ordered the Ole Smokey and the Cuban. The bacon on the Ole Smokey could have been cooked a little more but I will request it to be extra crispy in the future. The Cuban was good but when you've had a Cuban from Ybor in Tampa, Florida it is not a fair comparison. The Cuban was still good. The fries and kettle chips were tasty. There are board games you can play and plenty of space to spread out. There is a outside patio for dining outside. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. We will be back to try another sandwich or salad and definitely the mac & cheese for sure.

Pretty disappointed with my visit here, not because of anything that happened but because it was pretty hyped up and it didn’t come close to what I was expecting. I got the fried pickles and the Buffalo sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. Fried pickles were fine… but the sandwich and the Mac and cheese were below average. Mac and cheese was cold and not cheesy at all and the sandwich was full of chewy grizzle pieces. The attached picture is pretty much what was left because I didn’t really enjoy eating any of it at all. I’ll probably try again but like I said I was pretty let down.

First time trying this place today 3/11/23. The food was great! Made fresh and the service was also wonderful. Quick service and the place is clean. I love how you go to the front counter and order your food then they bring it to you. Kind of a fast food/restaurant type of deal. The Mac-rolls are delicious! I also had the buffalo chicken salad which was good but could have used my lettuce. My husband had the cheeseburger and said it was tasty too! Overall the food is yummy so definitely check this place out. We spent 44 bucks so the pricing is average.
