The Ono Poke — Restaurant in Hoover

I am leaving a 5 star for service bc Lucas was outstanding and took care of the issue I had with my Green Bowl. I found a long dark brown hair about 1/4 way down while eating that was stuck into the other ingredients in my bowl. It made me sick so I walked up and presented the bowl with the hair sticking out and Lucas apologized immediately and ask if they could remake another bowl. I thought for a minute and replied no I will just take a refund bc again it kind of made me sick. Lucas quickly handled my request and as I was standing there I could hear and see other employees a little disgruntled about my request. Lucas continued with my refund at the register and said no that’s not what the customer wants, so a HUGE THANK YOU to Lucas who advocated for the customer… I appreciate...

The atmosphere and the service was amazing and mimics the other locations. My initial visit, I ordered the crunch bowl. The white rice was undercooked to the point it was not just dry but crunchy. I came in later in the day and I received the same amazing service and my order was remade. However, I informed the supervisor twice "no brown rice". When I returned home, I was served brown rice. When I called the next day, I was told to come in again and they would again remake my order. I decided not to return and will wait a bit.

This is a newer location and its hopeful this location's kitchen will rise up to the same quality and consistency of the Ono Poke at Homewood and Downtown Birmingham in...

Our first time to visit and we were very pleased! Staff was friendly and very helpful as they described how the the bowl selection process worked and explained unfamiliar food items. I had the ahi tuna as my protein; my husband had the salmon. Both were excellent and very tasty. There are so many items from which to choose for toppings and sauces with no limits.
