Burger King — Restaurant in Hope

Friendly staff but the owners here are cheap or something. Uniforms are gross, probably not issuing enough to staff or making staff work multiple stations due to understaffing. Name tags are recycled and paper tape labels all faded, saw no names on any staff. Two Ceiling fans are missing blades, 20 or so ceiling tiles are needing replaced, about 5 bulbs are out in lobby, trash was pulled while we eating and if left a trail of fluid. Staff worker was nice but I don't think he had a can on wheels to roll into lobby to prevent this. The table I am at has 'bk licks cox' carved into it and needs to sanded out or replaced. Ketchup pump has no spring, you have to pump it up and down. Bathrooms just seem really damp and gross. I'd say 70% of the tables are dirty and there was a line of chairs roping off a clean section by the solarium. You can do better Burger King. Food was solid, customer service was on point and I bet drive thru is doing great. Lobby...

Employees saw me taking pictures of saggy ceiling and rusty vents and "told on me". Manager came out to "scold" me and inform me that taking pictures was not allowed as posted, by corporate, on their front door. She also said I could be sued for taking pictures. I said I did not take a picture of anyone's face. The WHOLE crew was protective of the no picture rule. Seems oddly defensive. The manager wanted to know if we had any problems with our food, which we did not. I forgot to ask her why the back area appeared hazy from grill smoke and wonder if the health department worries about possible vent exhaust issues? The manager did comment that they were soon to be remodeled. I have never noticed a "No video or still picture" regulation on Burger King doors in my community. Have to wonder about the reasoning behind that one...if it...

The one star is too much! The employees here are a JOKE! I ordered 2 whopper jrs and French toast sticks. Granted it was the morning, it should not have taken 30 minutes to make my meal! On top of that the only thing that was hot was the fries?!?!?! The cheese on my whopper wasn’t even melted, meat still cold! On top of that the employee there had the nerve to come out and say it take at least 15 minutes to cook the meat. Well what about the other 15 minutes? And WHY IS MY MEAT STILL COLD?!?!?!!!!!! Not to mention I only wanted ketchup and mustard on one and only cheese, plain on the other. Again, WHAT TOOK SO LONG????? Only thing good I got was my sprite that I got with the meal. They need to fire everyone with the attitude and poor work ethic and hire people who actually...
