We purchased doughnuts 4 days in a row because we had family visiting & were too busy to cook breakfast as we had about 5-9 jobs to do on each day. They weren't anything special to be honest, but we live out in the middle of nowhere & it was a convenient location. On the last day, we told the teenage boy working the drive thru window that we wanted two dozen doughnuts & we wanted them to all be colorful with sprinkles. We even said it twice & emphasized how all of the kids ONLY wanted pretty colors with sprinkles. He hands us the boxes, we drive home, open the boxes for everyone only to realize he gave us all brown doughnuts with zero sprinkles & then 3 random cake type doughnuts. Literally nothing at all what we asked for....24 doughnuts & not ONE of them was correct. We had to quickly get to our next job but planned to call as soon as we got a break. We called that afternoon but they closed at 1:30, so we call again the next day. We asked for a manager so the girl went to hand them the phone as she was obviously standing right next to them & we heard "tell them I'm busy." So we had to tell the girl what happened & then she relayed the message to the manager who was still next to her. Their response was "there's nothing I can do about it, they should have brought them back." Umm....noooo, I should not have drove 20 mins back to the store & then 20 mins back home again. Especially when I had jobs to complete in a timely manner. I said "I took a picture & also have the receipt if that helps?" Nope....not good enough. I then said "look I'm not expecting a month supply of free doughnuts or anything, I simply want you to acknowledge it so you could maybe talk to the guy who did it so it doesn't keep happening. Are you willing to lose our business over simply acknowledging the mistake I wanted to bring to your attention?" Then with such attitude the manager says "just get their number I'll call them back later." Well, you guessed it....they never called us. That's when it dawned on me that I cannot support a business that has such a nasty attitude towards it's repeat customers over something so minor, when I could instead be supporting a business that appreciates their customers & aren't "too busy" for a 1 minute phone call. My wife told me to “just grab a dozen,” but how do you stop at 12 when every donut in the case looks like it’s been hand-crafted by angels?
The glazed donuts? Perfection. Light, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. I swear they floated out of the box like something out of a cartoon. The apple fritters? Let’s just say I’d fight a grizzly bear for one. Even their coffee, which I only got to wash down my third donut, was surprisingly legit.
The best part? The people here are as golden as the donuts. Super friendly, quick service, and they don’t judge you when you “accidentally” eat half a dozen in the parking lot.

When there was a problem, they said "we will make it right". After paying for delivery at a specific time, I drove across town while I was trying to work, and got donuts that weren't smashed and old. They did the bare minimum. After I paid for delivery and then had to drive across town, the classy thing to do would have been to give my kid a free donut or something. A dollar donut doesn't begin to cancel out the delivery fee, tip, and opportunity cost, but it would have gone a long way as a cheap gesture.
Any place worth visiting would have told me to keep the other donuts that they were going to throw away and then given me the good ones. That's how you get...
