This place is wonderful, I have the pleasure enjoy a good time here with my friends in Houma, very nice if you have a boat because they have a dock, they offer drinks and bites for a good price, during the summer it is very busy, if you have the opportunity to visit Houma, take a time and enjoy a drink with the view of the canal. Fun place right on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway. Packed with locals, but a good many transients arrived from the water side only a short boat ride from the nearby Downtown Marina. Offers a broad selection of spirits - much higher quality bottles than you might expect from an open air waterfront bar. Canal Bar has a stage at one end that fills up the water with rocking music when a band is playing (Friday nights for sure). Give it a shot for some evening...

Good location. Drinks ok priced. It could be the best place to be if they had a DJ every Friday and Saturday especially if they don't have a band. I could see by the people when a song was played on the jukebox they would sing along and move in their seats. It's not the same without a DJ. Bartenders where quick. Patrons were nice and friendly. I will come back...
