New York Bagel Houma — Restaurant in Houma

Everything ive tried here has been top notch. The sandwiches, burgers and pancakes are awesome, they grill (assuming on a griddle or something) most of the deli style meats (boars head too) so they taste even better, i even ask for mine a little extra grilled sometimes. Service is always 150% and i never say no when we are deciding what to eat. Oh and the prices, they are awesome for the quality and taste you get and its just enough food to leave you plenty full.

The only con ( more of a personal preference )i find in anything are sometimes the bagel chips ( they are baked btw )they were odd the first time i encountered them because it's an awesome idea but to me there are too many different types of bagels mixed in that i never eat and find myself picking out most of them because its a mix of all their bagels which i dont care for some of the flavors myself. The ones that i like are great tho (just watch the teeth, some can be hard but they taste the best imo lol )

I live in Thibodaux, but my wife works by the east side. So I never really thought of the place to go bc of the hours. Until a couple of weeks ago, my wife was like hey surprise me for breakfast for her at her work. So I was like hey let me check out NY bagel. When I walked in, I was like, dang, this place is nice!!!! I looked over all the menu and bagels. I was not expecting the variety of all the food. I got my wife the French toast bagel with strawberry cream cheese. She loved it. I told the cashier that I really wanted to bring my daughter bc she loves new places and new foods. The best chicken salad in southeast Louisiana!! Unfortunately, their hour of operation are inconsistent with what’s advertised on Google. There have been multiple Saturdays in which their hours on Google show “open”, yet they were closed. Today, Wednesday, 2/5/25, Google showed that they were open until 1:30pm, yet they were closed when my wife swung by there to pick up some more chicken salad and a breakfast sandwich.
