Came for late lunch. The service was average but I gave an extra star only because I think the owner (not our server) came to us several times to ask if we needed anything. We ordered regular eggrolls but they ran out and the (owner) came to our table to offer us crab eggrolls which he said costs more but he would replace with at no extra charge. The Bun Cha Ha Noi, their signature dish is a must try. Very flavorful. The pho was surprisingly delicious. I've eaten pho at many places and would rank this among my top 10. The beef slices were so tender and fresh and the meat balls same. Next thing I know I finished the whole soup. They have a variety of menu options to choose from to fit many different tastes. There's also dessert (Che) or take out dishes to choose as well. We came around 1:30 and their che desserts were almost gone. Pretty popular. One thing I want to add is the menu name was different from the sign outside or on google. It says Hanoi Quan instead of Xoi Che Houston so not sure if they are in process to...

This place was all around very disappointing. I work in the resturant industry myself so I am always very reasonable with service even if it’s very bad. It was obvious there was only 1 man serving the entire restaurant, running the food, taking orders, printing checks and I could tell he was trying his best (which is what I really look for) but I’m curious why they would have only one man work the entire rest restaurant by himself. Usually, I would let poor service slide but when the food came out it was actually ridiculous. READ THIS PART BECAUSE IT IS WHY I GIVE THIS PLACE A 1 STAR⭐️. There was no noodles in the soup. Less than half of the meat you would usually recieve in a bowl of pho but NO NOODLES. Even when we were given noodles it was so little and the food quality was poor. Unless they change the amount of people they schedule I highly recommend to not come here. Oh and they forgot half of the order so we just...

Disclaimer: This is an independent review and it is not a paid review by anyone. I only did a review on the food I ordered that day. The review is unbiased and fair. Outside: easy to find and has plenty of parking spaces. Inside: simple, spacious, minimal decorations. Service: there is only 1 person taking orders and check people out. However, the waiter was very nice! Food: I ordered Pho đặc biệt with 4 different kind of meats. However, I was so disappointed the broth. It tasted like water and MSG. I had never had such a bowel of pho tasted like this from Houston. Prices: $12 to 15 Overall: I stop by the restaurant because of it’s previous reviews. However, I didn’t understand how people left 4 stars or more base on the food. The portion was not much for a large bowel. The price is ok but it’s not task like pho. Would I recommend people to give this...

Was hoping to find a good spot for Bun cha Hanoi. I’m from northern Vietnam, so I had high hopes. That said, my whole experience was mediocre at best. Ordered the bun cha Hanoi, nem cua be, and corn milk. The corn milk ($5) was good. Nem cua be (4 for $9) were oily and not very flavorful. I had to use a napkin to soak up the oil. Bun Cha Hanoi ($13.50) left a lot to be desired. Meat was dry & flavorless. They’re supposed to use pork belly but im pretty sure they used plain pork butt or shoulder. Nuoc mam was watered down. This is supposed to be their signature dish but there was really nothing special about it and it was so disappointing I didn’t even finish half of it. Bill came out to $29, $35 with tip for a thoroughly disappointing lunch for 1. Will not be back.

My son and I stopped in for a late lunch on a Thursday. There wasn’t anyone else in there when we arrived. We found a seat and sat down. We literally just sat down and they came and asked us what we wanted. We barely had time to look at the menu and felt super rushed. We ended up both ordering the same bún chả because we didn’t get to review the whole menu. I probably would have also ordered appetizers if we had more time to look. The bun and vegetables came out in a separate platter from the meat. It looked like there was so much - my son and I said we could have ordered just one to share. However, we both finished all our bun - just had some meat left over but not much. I will be back with the rest of the family soon.
