China Valley — Restaurant in Houston

I’ve always seen this place in the shopping center and decided to try it with a friend. I ordered a chicken and shrimp pad Thai, gyoza, and the happy special. I ate the pad Thai that night and had a horrible experience. I was bloated, gassy, had diarrhea, and even woke up in the middle of the night with hives. I am not allergic to seafood or peanuts, so there shouldn’t be any reason for me to have a bad reaction. However, in the past I have had run ins with bad grease and MSG. I don’t know if that is the case. I spoke with one of my neighbors and their family had the same reaction I had.

Unfortunately, this has left a bad experience and I am reluctant...

Had the WORSE experience here! Ordered lunch and there was a nat in my soup! Called to get a refund and the owner asked for pictures. Sent him over pictures, and he called me back offering a FULL MEAL REPLACEMENT! However, after the disgusting experience let him know we will not be returning there and would just like a refund instead. At this point he said he would not give us a refund and hung up! WORSE FOOD EVER! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! DO...

After the dining experience, we have never gone anywhere else. It's a very clean, quality restaurant staffed with intelligent, courtesy, and friendly people. The food is fresh, prepared as you order with a lovely presentation. I have never given a 5 star rating before, but this restaurant has earned...
