I ordered butterfly shaped macaroons and cream puffs from Trifles for my child’s birthday and I was very impressed by the quality and taste of the desserts. Asma, the owner and baker, was very flexible and accommodating with my requests. She even made the macaroons with Palestinian flag colors at the last minute, at my request and they looked amazing. The macaroons were delicious and the cream puffs were light and fluffy.

Asma is a super talented baker. When I first met her she handed me a macaron that wasn’t in the shape of a circle. I was in shock. I asked her if she thought that she could help me make brain macarons for epilepsy awareness month. I have since ordered 17 dozen macarons from her over the course of a month I typically get two “wows”-one for how pretty they are and one for the taste. The ones I ordered were white chocolate ganache and raspberry jam, and she gave me great instructions on how to preserve them long-term. She individually wrapped them for me each time.
