The service here is terrible. Went here with a friend around mid-day on a Saturday. They were still in brunch hours but didn't have many patrons because it was later in the day. My friend ordered beignets only to find out there were none. She ended up ordering pancakes with no fruit on top. We went to sit down and most of the tables had not been bused. There were random plates and dishes on many of the tables. We ordered coffee and they had a coffee dispenser at the bar but there was no creamer or sugar anywhere near it. Finally we sat down. I ended up receiving my food first (I had ordered the omelet). My friend waited close to 30 additional minutes to receive JUST PANCAKES!!!! I personally think it was because they had forgotten she had ordered anything. When she was ordering there was a lot of chattering and side conversation going on at the register, more like a social setting instead of a work establishment. Finally when she got her pancakes, the order was incorrect. They had fruit on them. The manager gave her coupons for free beignets which was nice but it does not make up for the poor customer service. Many of the employees had their phones on them and were using them in the dining establishment and the kitchen (which you can see through the window). Many of them were holding side conversations and oblivious to the fact that they were at work. Most of them ignored the patrons. The food is fine but they really need to work on...

DO NOT EAT HERE!!! They profile and judge you and then ignore you as if you don’t exist. I will NEVER patron this location again!! The only thing I appreciate about this visit was the newly hired hostess who disclosed that she was new and still learning. However I notice I didn’t get a receipt after spending $75+ dollars. I asked the host and she had to ask the ā€œtenuredā€ host( this is when things get appalling). First neither one knew the receipt machine had been out of paper all morning…so if I wouldn’t asked how many more customers would’ve gone with out one. Then I’m assuming the male manager on duty told them to find it in a cabinet right next to the registers. After it took both host to load the receipt paper. The new host told them I was number 8… so the ā€œtenuredā€ host handed me a random receipt… I politely said it’s not mine. Her response, ā€œTHATS THE RECEIPT FOR NUMBER 8 SO THATS YOUR RECEIPTā€ no mam this isn’t my receipt, ā€œYES THAT IS YOURSā€ …you ever heard the expression ā€œloud and wrongā€ that was her… mam how are you going to tell me what I ordered and paid for…maybe I was profiled and she assumed that the $20 just had to be mine. All in all she was rude and disrespectful. NEVER AGAIN!!! I will visit the many other locations...

I used to loveeee dish society when I was in undergrad. It was a staple and I took EVERYBODY I knew here when they would come into town. I came back to visit a friend and everything has changed. The drinks are smaller, the portions are WAY smaller. They barely gave my friend any grits with her shrimp and grits order 😭 it’s a GRAIN, it’s not that expensive. Servings used to go to at least near the edge of the plate and now it’s about a ladle’s worth in the middle and tail-on shrimp. My chicken and biscuits order (that I usually swear by and order almost exclusively) was more bread than chicken and the chicken was cut was a lottt thinner than I remember. There also was enough gravy to cover the top and look like it was a lot, but I realized once I started eating that it was only enough gravy for ALMOST one of the two biscuits. I didn’t finish my meal. My third friend also didn’t finish hers (some kind of salad) but she didn’t take the rest to go. The staff were alright but I don’t think I’ll be returning after such a disappointing dining experience. Maybe I’ll forget about this and try a different location but in the meantime I know I’ll have better luck at Lola’s diner...

Another Sunday outing with the girls for our typical brunch date. I have mixed reviews about Dish Society and what it offers , some good & some I did not care for but felt it could just be a personal preference. Let me start on a good note; The location is in a nice area, the parking was free with ample spots. The food was good, all my friends were happy with their dishes. The place was upbeat, clean, and not too noisy. It is true about their staff- extremely helpful and consistently asking if everything’s fine. (which was nice) On a different note; I do not like standing in line to order my food. I thought for the amount of food portions provided it was a little pricey. Lastly I love my coffee and when I have to consistently get up from the table to get coffee that’s an issue. Also, the creamer they used was extremely cold so in combination with not hot coffee - I got mediocre warm coffee….so not the making of a happy customer here. (Again in reference to the line and having to get up for my table is more a personal thing) So you may want to try Dish Society and come to a conclusion if this place is a yes or no for you. šŸ‘šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼ Happy Eating Friends!

As we entered, the host asked if it was our first time and I said yes, he explained how to order and where to order. This really set the tone for a good time. The menu is well organized and descriptive šŸ’Ŗ. The gentleman that took my order was very helpful and offered us a glass for water after I ordered our Brunch. I got the Chicken Biscuits with Gravy and an order of Truffle Mac and Cheese. My girlfriend ordered the Chicken biscuits with gravy (Spicy) and an order of Sweet Mashed Potatoes. The biscuits were perfectly flavored and not soggy upon arriving to the table. Although the biscuits were topped with gravy the consistency of the biscuit was exquisite šŸ‘Œ. The Truffle mac and cheese was not too salty and perfectly cheese'd (not sure if that's a word but it was that dang good) and the concighle noodle was aldente and not mushy. I had an iced caramel latte that had the perfect balance of milk, Espresso and caramel. The setting is a relaxed atmosphere and not flooded with loud music that allows conversations to be clearly heard between two people having Brunch. This was the first of many times i will be visiting this place šŸ’ÆšŸ¤—šŸ¤

An upscale millennial sort of diner with a very open concept floorplan and a fabulous bar. Open for most of the day Dish Society appears on this one visit to be a hip breakfast joint that draws a millennial and international crowd. (I am at home in this environ.) The house coffee is good, and having Almond Milk set out in addition to creamer is fabulous. Their menu consists of some brunch staples like pancakes and omelette's, I had the House Omelette (pictured) with a side of sausage. The omelette was good but not stellar, (the Omelette House in Vegas has me spoiled). But it was a great execution of the dish, and the potato hash it was served with was great. The sausage patties were dense and firm. A good solid pork sausage that was well worth the up charge. (Also pictured). Hot sauces are Tobasco, Cholula, and Houston. For a hip breakfast joint near the Bunker Hill area of town, come here for a good, dining experience. While nothing here was perfect, overall the way the aesthetic and food comes together is fabulous.
