This place really went above and beyond for me. My phone had been broken, and I didn’t realize that I hadn’t backed up my data to my iCloud. I lost 16,000+ pictures and numerous irreplaceable precious memories. I honestly didn’t have hope for anything to be restored because of the extent of the damage of the phone. The phone didn’t even turn on, but my mom decided to take it here to ask for help. They said that the motherboard looked to be okay, and that they were going to attempt to save it by putting it in a new phone to save the data. They didn’t know if it was going to work, so they even said if it didn’t work they wouldn’t charge us. I was amazed that they were even going to try. A couple of days after dropping it off, they called my mom and told her that it was a SUCESS! They were able to save everything! The phone was just as it was before it was broken, and I was able to back up everything to my iCloud! They did more than they know for me, and I am beyond grateful for the wonderful and intelligent people that work at XM Computers. I highly recommend this place! I took my desktop in that I purchased from them 3 years because I was having problems with the Blue Screen of Death. They charged me for a complete scan for viruses, hardware & software issues, & computer optimization without fixing the problem. The next day when I picked up the computer I was still have the same problem, I took it back to them and they still could not fix the problem. I'm still having the same issues to this day and when I call them (the technician's name is Ghandi) about fixing the problem they've shown a reluctance to look into the problem further and seem content to dump the problem in my lap instead. I'm extremely disappointed with their service here and they don't seem to be very competent when it comes to troubleshooting. Dependable and reliable. Excellent service. Have used them for years. Had PCs that wouldn't boot up, had data loss problems and have also bought refurbished PCs from them. My latest problem (2016) concerned corrupted videos. They came up with an acceptable solution for me.
