Had a great first experience walking in and ordering fajitas to go. We were only second in line, so ordered very quickly, it was about a twenty minute wait for an order of chicken and veggie half and half fajitas. The manager came by asked us how we heard of the place and brought us chips and queso to sample. They also gave us free Saint Arnold's beer while we waited. The queso was a silky soft yellow almost white, the chips were thin, crispy and well salted. I enjoyed the combo and we ended up adding some to our order.
The rotisserie chicken was everything people have been raving about, moist, juicy and flavorful. The veggies were a savory mix of green onion, asparagus, mushrooms, white onion, corn, and peppers. I think they are going to change them up depending on the season, but this mix was great.
They give you plenty of fixings, shredded yellow cheese, sour cream, tortillas, salsa, pico, etc. My only gripe is their green 'crack' sauce is less than exciting. They need a new name, it was very disappointing.
However, everything else was so good, can't...
Read moreI live very close by and end up eating from here about once or twice a week. Everything is very good though I have my favorites. So many times I just end up ordering guacamole and queso with a vanilla cream soda and having a naughty feast. The fajitas are all excellent and I really like their enchiladas recently. I think you only thing I don’t love is there chicken enchiladas but there’s nothing wrong with them; just not my favorite flavor profile. I almost feel bad mentioning that because everything else is so yummy. They are always friendly and fast when I go over or call in. I have had no problems with any last-minute changes to my order or any sort of customization – not that I do it that often and I try not to be picky. I love that they have a simple menu but there is always something that I can find that will feed the family. Their chicken dinner is about as healthy as Mexican food can get and it’s quite comprehensive and tasty. I also have the added bonus I smelling fajitas in my backyard...
Read moreUpdate Been here 2 times for takeout in 1 week. Let's just say their rotisserie chicken is not your typical HEB chicken. If you get anything, get anything with their chicken.
I've now had their boar sausage quesadilla and it's unique and very tasty. Queso is cheesy goodness that will make you ignore your diet.
Lastly, if you order takeout, make sure you take Kevin (owner) up on his offer for a free cup o' beer.
End update
Medium pricey as the most affordable items start around $11 BUT the rotisserie chicken quesadilla was hands down the juiciest, freshest, tastiest quesadilla I've ever had. Beats taco cabana 20x over and el tiempo 5x at the very least.
I was here only for lunch so I couldn't force feed myself half a pound of the sirloin steak fajitas but if the quality was even remotely close to the chicken, I'll be coming back with friends soon.
Plenty of parking in front and back. Clean and bright interior. No line for now but as more people discover this place, I'm sure the wait...
