Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Houston

I never normally have issues with this location, but my experience with them last night was not so great. Spent a total of half an hour in the drive thru, which is pretty ridiculous. Ordered tacos with no taco sauce, ended up having to go back through the drive thru line again to have them remade since they didn’t make them as requested. By the time I left the drive thru, the rest of my food was cold. I understand that they were busier than normal, but they were not running the drive thru efficiently - some cars were at the pickup window for in excess of 5 minutes. Instead of having those cars with large orders park their vehicles either in the parking spaces designed for this purpose, or to pull around to the front to allow the flow of cars to keep moving, they let the cars stay outside the pickup window to wait on their orders. I would have liked to have gone inside to be able to have my order corrected, but it was after 9pm and so the dining room/inside was closed. Instead, I had to wait in line behind other vehicles when I had already been in line - the guy at the window also didn’t offer any condiments to me, and I had to ask for the honey garlic sriracha that I had requested for my spicy chicken strips. I think he may have been new, but he did apologize for the mistake with the tacos. I don’t like giving a 2 star review to them, as they have normally done an outstanding job on prior visits, but last night was a pretty bad experience. First of all, I ordered a jumble jack, a jumbo drink. I asked For easy ice did not receive an ice cube at all. Not one. I understand that’s excited 1° outside, but not one ice cube and Jack, you made fun of McDonald’s burgers, For being so small, that burger is so Little, almost by 2 inches roundand the meat is the worst. I will not ever eat at that Jack-in-the-Box or any jack in the box into I Know. It’s Better. Beef is disgusting. It was so dry. And it’s nothing, but soy. Me. So come on Jack. Do something about it. Now. Your burgers are smaller and you’re charging more money than McDonald’s. And then the beef is the worst. This is the second time I repeat myself. The meat is the worst and update that Jackie, a box. It’s over 30 years old. I would love for it to have seating outside, when it’s nice and cool. Drink my coffee with the with a piece of cake. 11/03/2023 The night manger around 11pm is very rude and NASTY. If you do not want to do your job then QUIT.

You have no reason to threaten my children with the police over your mistake. A manger is supposed to diffuse situations not fuel them. Do your Job lady, they waited almost 20 mins to speak with you.

A receipt was no provided to them during any of their transactions ! Food establishments should not be taking food back into the kitchen you are DISGUSTING. One employee gave them the food and the manager requested it back. It is rude to give someone something then ask for it back in anyway. A refund should have been given simply due to this situation.

We would like to speak with someone higher up ASAP. This situation was very hostile and employees looked lost the entire time by the managers lack of involvement.
