Memorial Donuts — Restaurant in Houston

I needed a new "running late" breakfast place between kids school and work. This place is amazing! I'm a cake donut fan, and these are absolutely the best in Houston. Very light and fluffy. Others get hard quickly. They have a large variety of kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast tacos too. I've only had the bacon, egg, cheese, and the taste and quality is fantastic. My coworker commented that his sausage cheese I brought was really good, and "where is this place?" As a bonus the employees are great too. I've only met the man and woman. I ordered a croissant and coffee. Employee didn't ask me if I wanted my croissant warmed up. I typically say no anywhere I go. I prefer to warm it myself, if needed. Otherwise, you end up with a tough croissant. That's exactly what I got. The taste was horrible! Don't know how you can mess up a croissant, but this place did. It wasn't edible. Coffee lid was cheap. I couldn't sip my coffee while driving without getting some on me. I thought to stop here while running errands to support a small business....

I ordered through Grubhub and was very disappointed in my order. I ordered two ham and cheese kolaches and a 1/2 dozen mixed doughnuts. The kolaches were undercooked. The croissant was undercooked and mushy! The selection of donuts they gave me were all the same just different There was no variety at all.
