This is the best little spot! Very much your neighborhood donut shop, in terms of their offerings, plus a few extras. The kolaches are solid- I got the small sausage and cheese, and small sausage cheese and jalapeño. The ratio is more bread to meat, but the bread is really good on it’s own. The donuts are also really good, or at the least the one I had, and I’m not even really a donut girl. I got the plain cake with chocolate icing. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft in the middle, and the icing was a little gooey. I enjoyed it! I also got a Vietnamese iced coffee, which was perfectly rich and a little bit chocolatey, and the sweet lady threw in some cinnamon sugar cake donut holes. Three minutes from my house, really solid breakfast options, and great customer service? I will definitely be coming back!
They also offer Thai tea, bahn mi, and fried rice. Planning to come back for lunch some time to...
Read moreI usually don't write reviews, but the amazing introduction and service I had earlier today here forces me to make an exception. I went with my mom and we had the pleasure to talk with Sydney (hope I spelled that right!), who was SUPER helpful, friendly, inviting, and gave me some cool information about the place, as well as recommendations. I had the Vietnamese Coffee, which was phenomenal, and got a dozen mini kolaches for my folks. I've spent most of my life here and idk how I didn't know about this place. This is definitely one of the better breakfast spots in the East End/2nd Ward, and I will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu. Thanks for taking care of...
Read moreI’ve gone a few times now. Everything I’ve had so far is really good. Boudin kolaches, jalapeño and cheese kolaches, glazed and cake donuts all have great flavors, great textures. The owners are really nice and relaxed.
Only been once so far so I started with the basics, the mini kolache and glazed donut. Both hit the spot and are good examples of what you expect from a small donut shop. The donut was really good and flavor wise sort of reminds me of a beignet. The owners were very nice. I look forward to trying their other kolaches and donuts but especially the fried rice and bahn mi. Good prices, good food, friendly small business owners in other words a good...
