We have come here a few times now so it's time to share my experience.

(Initial Review) The food is some of the best Thai in town which says a lot because we have some great Thai here! They are 100% amazing for taking seriously whether or not you want food spicy or not. I ask for zero spice (my tongue literally burns if too spicy) and that is exactly what they give me! My boyfriend wants his incredibly spicy, so they give him spicy. We really appreciate that they take the time to give us the spices we ask for because it makes the experience better. Service is top notch, they really do a wonderful job. It is byob so we bring a bottle of wine to enjoy. They're wonderful and so convenient to get to. We are already regulars here.

(Review over time)

So in the beginning Nara was amazing but over time it has gone downhill. We really want them to stick around too because they're so close so I hope they take this to heart. Last couple times we went, the food my boyfriend has came out cold and mine came out extremely salty! The wine is also way over priced compared to what you van go buy at the grocery store. We miss...

Review is mainly on the food. The staff was super cool and the place is nice. Ordered takeout with three dish I feel are standard fare to any thai place. The fried rice was either made with fresh rice or they cooked it with too much water. Using freshly steamed rice for fried rice gives it a mushy consistency I’m not a fan of. Think sauce over steamed rice as opposed to fried rice. The pad thai was eh because the sauce to noodle ratio was off which made it dry. Tasted more dry noodle-y instead of a wok fried noodle with the tamarind flavor. It also didn’t come with limes and that seems like a critical ingredient for me. Chicken used was white meat and was on the dry side for the rice and noodle. The beef pad kee mao was okay. The flavors were there albeit may be on the sweet side. My only complaint is the noodle to meat and veggies ratio was low. Cool place, the kitchen needs some work....

Shady business practices. They constantly send out offers and rewards via email and your online account, but when you are ready to redeem the earnings, no one ever knows how to do it. They also have horrible customer service and a high turnover with staff. Every time an employee is rude to customers or confused about how to put your order in correctly, the excuse is “he’s/she’s new.” This food is mediocre and not worth the stress you go through to understand their lies about your coupons to get a decent meal. Think twice before ordering here if you are hungry or a loyal customer. The mango sticky rice is also a joke right now. They are using small amounts of canned mango on the sticky rice but lying and saying that it is fresh mango. This is poor management and poor business practices. Nua Thai downtown is a high quality and CONSISTENT...

Put my fried rice where it belonged!! Ordered a pickup order for the first time ever.. asked for fried rice with shrimp and chicken.. with EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA (X4 more Extras) EGG and an Omelette on top.. I got the omelette but no extra egg. Chicken was trash. I hate shrimp with the tail on (not necessarily their fault) but the shrimp also sucked. Worst fried rice I ever had. I ate the 3 shrimp it came with and threw the rest in the trash where it belonged.. also when I picked up the food. I asked for EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA EXTRA soy sauce. Asked for 20 packets.. paid a quarter each (extra $5… greedy/stingy with it) just to throw the fried rice away. Waste of money. Highly considered going back and asking for a refund but wasn’t worth my gas or time

We've dined at Nara Thai many times. The dishes always come out hot, fresh, and flavorful. Chicken Satay is a must try appetizer, the peanut dipping sauce compliments the chicken so well. Oh, the young papaya salad was so delicious. The sauce they used is very unique, citrusy, sweet, tangy, a little heat (the level we asked for) and not over powered by the fish sauce (which can be very fishy, like some restaurants have it). We've had papaya salad at other Asian restaurants and Nara still has the best papaya salad.. My daughter and I ordered chicken Pad Thai, the seasoning was perfect but the rice noodles were a little over cooked. My husband got the basil fried rice, he loved it!!! We shall return. Love this place!
