Came here this morning to buy lunch for my kid and I. When I got to my kids school to eat with her, i realized my order wasn’t what I asked for. I called immediately and spoke to a man who was working the register (not the same person I ordered from the first time I called) and explained what had happened and told him that I was going to go back so they can fix it for me. As I was walking in the lady who I placed my order with over the phone was staring me down in a very intense way. Made me extremely uncomfortable to see the animosity she had towards me for coming back. The guy at the register and the lady who i placed my order with, right away started asking me what exactly did i ask for when i ordered. I repeated myself a numerous amount of times, but the lady was making it seem like i ordered a different dish that they carry, that is similar to my request. The plate she confused my order for was the spicey lemongrass tofu PLATE! But what I was asking for was spicy lemongrass tofu vermicelli bowl, instead of the plain tofu. The lady over the phone had asked what kinda side did I want with it. I told her I wanted the cold vermicelli noodle bowl. A normal vermicelli bowl but with spicy lemongrass tofu! SERIOUSLY can’t tell you how many times I had to explain it to them. I was polite and patient even when the lady was being rude and glaring me down. The guy at the register was trying to figure out how to refund my money so he tried to get the lady to do it but she seemed like she didn’t want to help me and blew me off. She then returned with whom I assume is the owner. All I wanted was to fix my order but after all the gaslighting and unprofessionalism I just asked for my money back. I didn’t even touch the plate! It was all there! I brought them my full order of the wrong plate back! But no. They brought out the owner/ manager idk who he was, and all he kept telling me is i ordered the wrong thing. And when I told him it was miscommunication he kept telling me “no it wasn’t miscommunication, you just ordered the wrong thing!” He told me he wasn’t going to refund my money back because it was my fault, not a misunderstanding. That’s what really ticked me off. They were all gaslighting me because they didn’t want to admit that the lady and I had a miscommunication! They didn’t want to be wrong. Their egos really couldn’t stand the fact that there was a mishap. I’ve worked in the food service industry for 15 years+ and even helped my dad with his small restaurant, and anytime there is a problem with a food order, you either fix it or take it off the tab/ refund the money. It’s that simple. But no they didn’t want to do either. Even when the owner was telling me, that I got exactly what I ordered, I told him it wasn’t. It was a hot plate of vermicelli noodles topped with the lemongrass tofu sautéed bell peppers and onions. There’s a huge difference! He said we’ll just give you the shredded lettuce and carrots and fish sauce and you’ll have exactly what you wanted. But the noodles were hot. They didn’t want to give me cold noodles. So after all that I told them I don’t want anything just my refund for the plate I didn’t eat. The owner kept telling me it wasn’t gonna happen. Even after telling me that it’s not the money that’s the issue, it’s the fact that I ordered the wrong thing! I was getting upset, then, THIS ONE GUEST CAME UP AND OFFERED TO PAY ME FOR THE PLATE THEY GOT WRONG. since they didn’t want. Quickly the owner became embarrassed. We both refused to let the kind man step in to our dilemma. So the owner told the guy that he could handle it, so the man sat back down. Then the owner proceeded to tell me that I’m disrupting the guest and finally gives me my money back! I use to get food from here once a week but after all of that, I don’t trust coming in and letting them handle my food. Especially after the way they were willing to throw a guest under the bus just to make the lady feel better about not getting my order correct. I see a lot of reviews complaining about the same mistreatment from this...
Read moreI wasn't impressed by the food or the staff. There is a fine balance between the wait staff ignoring guests and annoying them. I felt ignored. The waiter didn't give me enough time to decide what I wanted and she wasn't helpful at all in assisting me in deciding what to order. This was my first time ever going to this restaurant, so I had no idea what I wanted. The way you order pho there is confusing. I couldn't figure it out. I ended up ordering General Tso Chicken and was absolutely not impressed. It was very greasy, the broccoli was barely cooked it wasn't even tender, however the white rice was good. The spring rolls were okay, but they seemed like they were something ordered from Sysco or something. I will...
Read moreOk, I don’t eat eggs or meat and tonight I ordered Veggie Fried rice and guess what was on top of it. See photos below. Now, I don’t understand if this was purposely done because it’s difficult to make Veggie fried rice without eggs or meat and someone wanted to ensure it was never ordered again, (rolls eyes), or if it was done accidentally. Either way, I’m a paying customer and deserve to have my food made correctly. I searched through the rice and couldn’t find it anywhere else so it’s odd that the cooks would just sprinkle a few tiny pieces of chicken in. If you don’t like making custom Veggie fried rice, just refuse to serve me. It’s less...
