Pick Up Stix — Restaurant in Houston

If you are thinking about getting something as simple as a side of fried rice, DONT COME HERE. I was at the airport for 2 hours waiting for my flight and was hungry but didn’t want anything big because it wasn’t even lunch time yet. I decide to get a side of fried rice because in my head i was like come on, how could you mess up fried rice. I WAS WRONG. THIS PLACE HAS THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME. 9. DOLLARS. FOR A SIDE OF RICE. 9 DOLLARS. when i heard the total my jaw actually dropped. I could’ve gone to chick fil an and gotten A WHOLE MEAL. I go to sit down for my meal already enraged, but then am like maybe it’s gonna be good rice, it could be worth it. I WAS WRONG AGAIN. Words cannot describe how flavorless the rice was It literally tasted like cardboard and bugs mixed together. It was so bad it ruined my day. I could not even finish it and I am the biggest foodie. My friend was also saying she paid 21 DOLLARS FOR A SHRIMP PLATE. WHAT IS THIS,CANADA??? I AM SO PISSED THAT I WASTED MT TIME, MONEY, AND MY HUMANITY BY GIVING THIS PLACE A SECOND CHANCE WHEN REALIZING THEY CHARGED ME 9 DOLLARS FOR A SIDE. if you are seeing this DO NOT COME HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would! Sadly me and my 4 year old child at here on our way to San Antonio for a vacation where my daughter could visit her grandma. And now as I sit in the ER with my child who not only hasn’t been able to eat anything else since eating there but also not being able to keep anything down causing her to be super sick and dehydrated. Crazy part is I ate the noodle and told her not to eat those because they tasted like something they just had sitting out in dish water. Then when we each had maybe three bites of chicken and I felt off and told her we would wait till we got to her grandmas. Three bites of chicken and a flight to Antonio we get to her grandmothers and she starts vomiting everywhere. There’s no reason that someone should feel like they can’t even eat at the airport anymore because this food was garbage. My daughter is so sick and is on an IV and is just miserable because either the food is not being thrown away when it is old, or the storing, preparation, or reheating of your food is being done improperly and now my baby is suffering for it! This place needs shut down and never reopened worst...

Put the Stix down. I'm a big fan of Panda and their honey walnut shrimp. Stix version looked to be the best option as the chicken entrees were stringy looking and oversaturated with sauce. I got the honey shrimp and white rice. When they scooped, it revealed 30 min older shrimp underneath, browned and crusty, which became 1/3 of my order. The shrimp was covered in thick breading, and so it was about half the size of the shrimps from Panda. Breading was soupy and had a strong vinegar flavor, light on the sweet, and no walnuts, onions, or any veggies. I ate about half of it. Won't be back. Maybe stick with white rice and...
