"QUALITY" Suites šŸ˜‚ I am currently staying at this hotel. I check out the day after tomorrow. That leaves the hotel tomorrow and the following morning to provide some level of QUALITY service, QUALITY communication, and QUALITY attitude that does not involve blaming the guest for things that are the fault of the hotel. If the service stays this terrible, I will come back and edit this to describe exactly what they did to merit a 1 star service rating. If I somehow leave here happier with the QUALITY of the service, I will update this review to be more positive. So far, the staff has not made me feel positive. On the contrary, I am feeling quite pissed off at a very rude and unprofessional attitude and poor communication from Auntie Ji. Her night shift front desk worker seems to expect you to fix the problems in your room on your own and also does not know how to communicate to guests. Not once did I receive any kind of apology or contrition for issues that were clearly only within the hotel's control. Including the afternoon front desk worker, this makes 3 out of 3 workers who have been cold, robotic, and unwelcoming. I have not seen one smile or been greeted politely even once today since I checked into this hotel. When you're consistently rude to me, I am going to be rude right back. I reciprocate energy. You have no business being in hospitality if you have 0 desire or ability to actually be hospitable to a guest who is paying you money to stay here. I have helped manage a Holiday Inn Express in the past. While it is a different hotel, it is still a hotel nonetheless. I never communicated with guests this way, and I would never have tolerated a staff member being that cold, robotic, and poor at communicating. Get it together or just get out of the hotelier business, please. šŸ™ I will happily edit this review to be more positive if I actually encounter positive service here before I leave. If not, again, I will get more specific about the exact words and actions toward me that led to this review. Your review scores are your choice. Elevate the service and elevate the score. From personal experience, I know how much these reviews matter as a franchisee and that Google is not the only place for me to leave my negative review. I will start with Google and then work my way to other sites after I leave unless I actually receive the service and communication I deserve. Update #1: The guy in a t-shirt and jeans texting on his phone just stared at me when I walked into the lobby. No hello. No smile. Just awkward and weird. Update #2: That is my 4th key card bc all their key cards always stop working. When I went to the front desk for a new card, the lazy fool literally did not even speak a word. If anything, he looked bothered that I interrupted him leaning back in his chair and text messaging. Nobody who works here treats it like an actual professional job, including the incredibly rude woman from last night who was wearing pajamas. I assume she is part of the ownership. Update #3: The picture of the stained towel is in the bathroom of the new room they had to put me in last night after the lock on my door failed completely. In the process, the incompetent night employee kept wasting my time with stupid questions about whether I had someone else in the room who locked me out. I had to tell this idiot 3 times that I was here alone only for her to finally get the door open, realize I was saying the truth, not realize she was an idiot and not give me the apology I deserved. This is after she made me jump through rings of fire to get her to change the batteries in the TV remote control that had dead batteries in it. This was AFTER she lied to me about not having other rooms available to put me in for her to finally admit they did when she realized that I refused to stay in the room with the broken lock that would not open again if I left. That's correct. She somehow expected me to just stay in the room for hours and not leave. 🤨 The picture of the trashcan contains 3 dead roaches. *text limit reached* šŸ˜‚

Here is a break down of my visit after flying from a good distance. Upon entering the hotel lobby the smell of cleaner and bug spray was very powered you to the point you taste it. Since I pre paid my would not of been able to get a refund so here is a multi stay review. I was told upon checking in after pre paying there would be a $100 deposit. When I asked about an early check in that was $40 fee. Asked if I could print something in the one computer business center in the breakfast area and was told I could print only 2 pages and would have to pay for additional pages. Breakfast: 1 waffle maker, plain Bagels, mini blueberry muffins, orange juice, apple juice, fruit loops and Cheerios. When I went the first day seemed no one was checking and restocking, second day got a waffle same with third day and a yogurt. None of it was bad but very minimal Room Service was only upon request which is fine but letting anyone else know who doesn’t like that. This suite or hotel šŸØ s ran by a family it seems. Not a good n rotation staff. They personally will not be staying here again due to the extra fees, smell and taste of cleaning spray and bug spray in my room that I had to air out all day the first day by opening the windows.

Beware of the additional incur fees. My friend and I check in here cause our flight got reschedule. We look and saw that it was affordable with shuttle bus offer which was the main reason we booked. Upon arriving early and while my friend is on her phone, the front desk attendant automatically put a $40 charge on her for early check in, in addition to $100 security deposit. And tell us they don’t do shuttle bus when the site we check said they do. Had she told before hand, we can come back or anything but no her reason was that my friend was on the phone working out our flight rescheduling so she automatically went ahead and charge the $40. She didn’t even show us the policy before hand which said $25 early check in, not $40. And don’t expect some decent breakfast like eggs, sausages and bacon. You’ll get just basic cereal (fruit loops and corn flakes), waffle and small bottle of Sunny D juice. For the price they charge us for one night, we could’ve just book at Hyatt or Hilton for that one night for same price.

Just to let everyone know, I typically can write a review on my phone because it is positive, but I had to get on my laptop to write this review. We visited this location January 23rd and stayed a couple of nights after a cruise in room 203. The location is convenient for car rental and the Hobby airport, and the hotel is updated somewhat. This is as positive as it gets. Before I start, I read a negative review and saw that the manager responded that if the customer would have reached out to them, they would have fixed the issue based on my experience that is FAKE NEWS! ||When we arrive, we wipe everything down as we normally do with any hotel room. Everything seemed to be looking clean and good until we pulled the covers back on the sheets. I saw one piece of hair and thought it was not too bad then we saw additional hairs in the bed. My husband called the front desk, and they said they would get housekeeping to change the sheets. Well, they called us back and told us the sheets were at the desk. We did not mind changing the sheets because again there were no other issues at this point. ||As the night went on, we went to bed early and late in the night I went to the bathroom and saw a tiny roach that I killed. I didn't think anything of it because we are in Texas so one roach doesn't hurt anything. The next day after we came back from a day out, we were warming up our food and a larger roach crawled up the wall and I killed it. At that point we were angry, and my husband went down to talk to a lady that was at the desk. He said the lady told him "we don't have roaches" with an attitude and he said I am sorry, but you do have roaches, and she said she would let the manager know and he would look into it. So we didn't hear anything back and had another day out with family and when we got back, we started killing roach after roach all coming from the bathroom. By this time, it was 2am and we were set to leave in a few hours to catch a flight. My husband went and talked to them again and the girl offered another room. We really thought the manager would come in and at least spray the place or offer a room earlier. We told them we wanted a refund on the room and my husband said the lady stared at him. No resolution. |By the way he found a hole between the wall and the bathtub where the roaches were coming from. We killed a total of 6 and the first two which was a small one and big one I didn't take a picture of those because I didn't think it would turn into an issue.||BUYER BEWARE!!! If you decide to stay here just know you run the risk and also MANAGEMENT DOES...

I moved here with the expectation to start a new life. Everything that could happen to me happened, in such a brief period of time. I was living a true horror story with suspense, biting your nails moments, and sitting on the edge of your seat experiences. I travelled from Buffalo, NY with a well thought out plan. Everything about my plan failed, and my furbabies (who are also registered support babies), and I became homeless. NO money, no car, and no shelter. I had depleted all of my funds, my car broke down on the I10W, 23 miles from my final destination. Low and behold the transmission went on the vehicle. There was nothing I could do to fix it. I had not, that kind of money. My family put me up in a hotel while we figured out my next move. Ricky and Sapna were very empathetic and accommodating to my situation. trying to accomplish a dream, that turned into a nightmare. They extended nothing but kindness, care and concern. My room was clean. The hospitality from all the staff members was great. I felt comfortable, safe, and secure while I figured out my next move. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. As long as you do your part, they will do theirs. I'm so eternally grateful for the kindness they shown me during my 10 days stay. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose this hotel. My family member chose this location, and I truly believe the decision to put me here was a guided decision by God. God knew what was going on, and He provided what I needed through Quality Suites. If I could give my stay here 10 star I would have. Thank you so much for while I was enduring my damsel in distress moment, you Ricky and Sapna stepped right and provide me peace and comfort. You two were my guardian angels who came to my rescue.... If you're reading this, you would want to stay here. Not to mention the prices were very reasonable. Let me get to making my next reservation in case I want to come back. Peace and many blessings to your entire staff.

Eternally Grateful,

Nicole A....
