I had a very awful experience tonight. I ordered my pizza online like always after I placed my order I get a call from verta the shift manager or whatever her position is, saying the couldn't complete my order because my area is safety hazard. She claimed that my area is a bad area and that they can't deliver to my location. I asked the lady when did they change this policy because I have been getting pizza delivered to my apartment for at least a year or so. She claims it's been a while since they delivered to my apartment. The so called incident that occurred with their employee was not at my apartment where I reside but in another apartment complex down the street. So they canceled my order and told me I had to wait 3 business days for my money back! I was asking why isn't there something that stops people from ordering delivery. What if I wasn't mobile or able to move and relied on the food , or what if the money spent was my last dime. They did not try to accommodate for the inconvenience. She made it as if they just don't deliver to a predominantly black area. I also called the man in charge of the store and he seemed like he didn't even care. This is a horrible customer service! I wish they would do better...
Read moreAfter waiting a little over an hour for my order I called and asked about it. After verifying my address, I was told that the driver had reported delivering it already. I said, "Nope!" Whoever answered the phone asked, to make sure, that I did not receive it yet, and I said, "Nope!" He said, AGAIN, the driver reported delivering it, AGAIN, I said, "Nope!" He put me on hold for a short time, came back and said, "give me 15 minutes." I said OK. After about 15 minutes my order did arrive, the driver quoted me the full price. I asked the driver what happened the first time, it's been over an hour. He said that he could call his boss for me to talk to. I agreed. After a missed call and a call back, the "boss" now said that the driver reported arriving and knocking and there was no answer. He changed his story. I said that I've been here. After some silence, I said never mind, whatever, and hung up. The driver missed his tip because I was lied to and I still paid full price, shame...
Read moreOn my last order, the pizza and wings tasted spoiled and had a strange chemical taste to it. Whenever I called the store to request a refund for the inedible food, I was told that I had to personally DRIVE to the store WITH the half-eaten food in order for them to “verify my claims” and make sure the food was edible. In my own personal opinion, I shouldn’t have to take time and money out of my day in order to fix the mistake that someone else made. Secondly, the idea of bringing spoiled food back to the restaurant is a disgusting idea that probably goes against many hygienic work regulations, and then there is the concept of proving my claims. How else will you know if the order was indeed spoiled or if it has a chemical taste, by taking a bite yourself? Absolutely revolting. I’ve been a big supporter of Pizza Hut for the longest, but this might have done it for me to consider this...
