Was there today for the first time, took my 66 year old mother to grocery shopping, since this is where she likes to go. Well over all it was good till we got to the register . Our cashier was Brittany. Not only did she had her child right next to her asking questions whe she was checking our stuff out, but she was upset . She was throwing all our stuff in to the basket and the she throws thr bags that suppost to be use for out grocerys to my chest. And she goes to say I'm about that. 😤she ment to do that!! She could have put in the basket. Them my mom was paying with a credit card and when the pin pad asked for a pin I ask her if she could put it as credit and she tells me fallow the instructions and gave me a mad look. I had a hard time doing it since the pin path does not give you instructions to pit as credit. For bring my first time it was the worst customer service ever . Y'all could have more people coming in if it was not for this kind of people . And guess what the customer next to us was white and o yea!!! I COULD see the difference. Same with the black girls next to her. Check y'alls camera Im not laying !!! Manager do something about it . Like I told my mom she just thought I did not...
Read moreI first posted a 3-star review, but now I have to revise down a bit, due to trust issue and would like to alert people. I found that this store can have price mistake very often, but usually is higher than that marked, and most of the time, if it is not much, I will just leave as I don't want to go through the trouble. Their checkout counter usually will not shown you the item price, and the angle is very hard to see even if you want to, so I believe it is intentionally designed. They flash the item price and then immediately replace it with subtotal, so think about why they do it! Also, quality issue, as the milk usually goes bad in a week, but the bread can be go for a month without mold, too much preservatives? Now the prices are not as good as before, so it is less attractive.
Previous review posted in July 2016: Good but be aware! I am a regular at Aldi due to its price and healthier low fat "Fit & Active" selection, but this newly opened store June 2016 is under poor management, and two things I noticed are: 1. Over advertisement, while they only have few available, and you can check the fresh meat section; 2. Incorrect prices, and this usually happens as low price shown, but scanned for...
Read moreAldi is anybody's solution to the overpriced cost of groceries. Think Trader Joe's completely stripped down. As a matter of fact, the two stores are apparently owned by the same parent company. There isn't a deli or bakery but the produce, dry goods, toiletries, snacks, and frozen fish and meals are premium quality. They do have meat cheese and eggs, just not Boar's Head Brand as you might see in a deli. The orange juice tastes fresh squeezed for 1.99 and now its the only place I will buy juice. Many of the items have a German influence because apparently, that is where this store has its roots. So if you have a weakness for amazing chocolate or European marzipan cake, you have to check this place out. Their wine selection isn't as extensive as Trader Joe's but the prices are dirt cheap for some quality wines. I especially love Winking Owl. I bought it thinking this is probably going to be terrible for the price and was wowed at how good it is. If you would rather think outside the box a little and try this store out you will not regret the savings and surprise in the superior quality of their...
