Red's Kitchen (Food Truck) — Restaurant in Houston

First and foremost I’m convinced that majority of those reviewing this food truck are either drunk or high off of a 3.5 of exotic. I used to follow this business but I hit the unfollow button with the quickness after trying this flavorless red beans and rice plate. I guess Louisiana is supposed to be the flavor capital (NOT) but this business lured me in with the Creole/Cajun model. When I tell you these beans weren’t made with love BELIEVE ME. When I tell you the cook must have run out of or was not familiar with The Holy Trinity, a little salt, pepper, garlic/onion powder, cayenne (more if you like it spicy) to say the least BELIEVE ME. The wings are ok, just ok but the star (red beans and rice) were not starring. I am not tripping on the 20 dollar plus price point because her price is her price and I am willing to pay. My issue is that there is NO FLAVOR. 1 star will NOT...

I don’t mean any harm but for $12, yea it’s cheap, but still, for that amount, upsetting but NOT complaining, the sausage in them were very cheap!

This lady Red threatened me from a fake number after I blocked her number because I am done with her services after she’s canceled my order 3 times in a row! So this the outcome after I made my review! I filed charges!

First time trying this spot. Nice lil food truck the woman is very friendly very patient. I ordered the pasta combo which came with 5 wings i got the remix flavor which is a spicy bbq it’s soooo good i got sausage and shrimp pasta, very amazing my only thing is it needs way more sausage and shrimp for the price but the shrimp and sausage that was in there was cooked perfectly all in all amazing place i will be back just want more...
