Cullen Plaza — Local services in Houston

I went into Fiesta for bread and Band-Aids and some guy just about followed me in the store begging me for money. It's really scary going into stores in this plaza. You see a lot of people just hanging around watching and approaching customers. Not saying they are up to anything, but I'm real leary about strangers just walking up to me and asking me for money before entering and coming out of the store! Stopped at the new Dollar Tree that used to be the worst HEB in Texas. Everything was new and neat. You could tell that they were still stocking from the grand opening. Staff was friendly and great, except for the manager who usually closes the store a little early. I understand not everyone will not have the Starbucks rule in place ( open 5 minutes early and close 5 minutes late), but closing any amount of time early without an emergency is...

They really need to close this location. It has a horrible spoiled smell, like mildew. The meat always looks old. I found out dated items on the shelf. The staff always have an attitude, if you don't want to work go home. I feel like they should build a different grocery store, like an HEB or Krogers. I think it would benefit the neighborhood more.
