Savor Grill & BBQ — Restaurant in Houston

Houston, Mo location. I will start with the only negative I found, location. Signage was adequate, on the other hand the parking lot makes you question where the entrance to the restaurant actually is. Once you have successfully maneuvered the parking lot your taste buds will thank you for the effort. I chose the "Dominator" because it offers a taste of, pulled pork. beef brisket, turkey, and ham. I set aside the bun and enjoyed a taste of each with a touch of each sauce offered. Each was delicious, tender with the brisket approximately an eighth inch thick with NO fat. I selected fries, and "Cowboy beans" (backed beans with pulled pork) thick, not runny sauce. Again I was pleased. I have tried many award winning BBQ locations with "Uncle Joe's" in Ina Illinois as the top pick but boy does "Savor" give them a run for the top spot on my list. Do yourself a favor and visit Savor. I went their to eat ordered the 2 meat plater small portions. And the other was a pulled pork burrito. I asked for no BBQ on it when it said cowboy beans I thought pinto beans not BBQ beans I wanted cabbage on it as well did not get no cabbage at all ordered fried greens tomatoes they were spicy asked if they could do it with out spice and the owner got mad I did not eat the burrito and asked for it to be taken off my bill. As I was not going to eat it, it did not come the way I ordered it. And I keep getting told, I have to ask the owner. The owner did not like that. It was not worth the $41.86 at all i went to taco, bell. And got food so I did not starve. They are from west plains did not know it till the end and they got shut down their never will go back and I will never recommend this place to anyone if they ask I will tell them to go...

Debbie runs the best restaurant in town! Our family loves to go there anytime we can. Our favorites are the brisket, nachos (minus pork & beans), and all kinds of local raised beef sandwiches to chose from. Their salads are great and there are several appetizers to choose from. The french fries are the best we've had anywhere and their lemonade is our kid's favorite (we usually order it by the jug). Their large selection on the menu is sure to please any variety of dietary needs and tastes, and prices are very reasonable for the large portions you receive. They even cater, which we have had them do for a wedding. Brandon, Troy, and Candy are incredible at caring for all the customers! When you visit, they all make you feel like family.
