I come to the river oaks location pretty often as of recently. I accidentally and came into the river oaks location today for my Mobile order and I didn’t see it on the counter. I showed the tall dark haired man my mobile order through the phone (and keep in mind it was not busy in the store) and he said he couldn’t help me because the order didn’t go through. So I’m confused and realized I must’ve accidentally did pick up for a different location because I stop by a few of them depending on what’s in stock. I asked him if he could explain to me where on the mobile app I could find the location set for my order because so I could redirect myself to the right location. He was just brushing me off the whole time saying “the order didn’t go through here” and I asked about 2-3 times the same question because I was still having a hard time finding the answer on the app myself and ended up walking out very frustrated because everything he said back to me had no relevance to my question he kept pushing the fact the order didn’t go through. If it were busy I’d understand, but it wasn’t, he was unwilling to help, not the type of employee I’d expect to see at a Starbucks because I feel like Starbucks carry’s themself a lot better than McDonald’s behavior. If he couldn’t of help he should’ve just said so, or even if the case were he didn’t hear me he could’ve asked me to repeat my question louder. I spend too much money with the company to be blown off like that.

Read moreI come to this Starbucks quite often. The service is mostly great but today they completely messed up my order. I ordered a blonde almondmilk latte with Splenda in the drive thru... Whatever they gave me was clearly not a latte of any sort... Looked like a watery coffee. I returned to the location and walked inside to get my correct drink. They of course remade the drink (as you could see that it wasn't right...no questions asked). They still messed up the remade drink...it was ridiculously strong (like a double shot would be noticeable stronger) with no sweetener added at all. I returned to the counter to say that my order still wasn't right & was treated as if I was the problem. They even implied that the sweetener was at the bottom of the cup... Lol... Wow... I think I can tell when a coffee has no sweetener. Sorry Starbucks but it's quite possible that the baristas got it wrong twice. It happens. I was polite about it but did not understand how you could drop the level of customer service just because I wanted the right drink. Making customers feel like they are wrong isn't...
Read moreUpdate stay clear from the Starbucks. Used to be a hidden mess now you can’t expect anything from this location. I never have cold brew always out by the machine is broken. This location is like a McDonald’s with the ice cream machine it’s very rare you get when you order or not at all. Save yourself the headache and go down the street and go to the Starbucks in Kroger.
This star bucks is a hit or miss! The store has a lot of young kids working and seem to play around in the afternoons. I came in one day sat in line behind all the employees while they got a drink played around and talking. After standing there like 10 mins finally one of the workers ask what I would like and started making it before I got to the register. She then stated everyone in front of me was employees and I shouldn’t have to wait! In all I recommend the Starbucks down the street inside Kroger!
