Starbucks — Restaurant in Houston

UPDATE: At Starbucks, I read and I write. That's it. Both require focus. I enjoy frequenting this store because its ambiance is consistently in the Goldilocks Zone! I'm rarely distracted by "too loud" or "too cold". It's just right. Baristas have always been friendly and accommodating. I love this old store - it's so welcoming and comfortable. I hope it escapes the renovations that encourage quick customer turnaround. Thank you shift leads and your teams, especially you who work afternoons and evenings when I normally hang out. You know my name and my drink. You know your stuff! See you soon. Five stars, still!

I haven't visited this store in quite a while. It's an older location - about ten years old, I think - and, wow, I couldn't believe how clean! It sparkled like a new store. After a while of working at my table, I observed the reason why. Lauren and her crew - Claire and Vivi - cleaned the place meticulously. They pulled out appliances to mop behind them, and even scrubbed the grout between tiles. I've never seen such an effort at Starbucks. All this, while serving customers efficiently. And, they nailed my custom drink every time. (That ain't easy, I promise.) Great job, crew! ...

Seem to have good days and bad days. I have continued going here because it’s on my daily route. I have been using the app to order online and just pick it up. They have gotten it right every time so far!! Still iffy with the whipped cream!

Used to love this place, but I don’t think they can keep up with the morning rush anymore. Two days in a row I have come and ordered the same thing. Two grande drinks, cold one with whip, hot one without. and two different slices of pound cake. When I order it, they always have it right on the screen but give it to me wrong and I feel bad about saying anything because of the line. They put whipped cream on the hot one and nothing on the cold one. This is two days in a row... plus, today they gave me my lemon pound cake with the plastic wrapper still on it... pictures below... you can clearly see on the label what...

I have the opening shift at work (5:45) so I often go through this drive through at about 5:30 in the morning. I'm generally satisfied with the coffee I get here, but as of today I probably won't ever return. I have my husband home for Vacation Leave from the Army. He decided to drive with me to work and we stopped through the drive through. As we ordered, the employee asked us to wait as she checked if they had something we wanted. While waiting, we were talking and shared a quick kiss. Abruptly, a man came over the drive through speaker and told us "Hey, cut that out. Don't do that in my drive through. Keep it PG." and scolded us for kissing in our own vehicle like we were teenagers. I don't appreciate being spoken to like I'm a child. I'm just there to get my coffee. I don't know if whoever said that was trying to be snarky or make us feel uncomfortable, but all it did was make me not...
