I liked the the food and the portions are very generous. What I did not like is the ordering system they have; A waitress will not approach you, you have to order at the counter. Everything is a la carte, only aguas frescas are on fountain, soft drinks are on bottles and cans. I find this system more appropriate for a taco truck than for a restaurant. Once you place your order, you then go find a table ,no hostess, and wait for a "waitress" (if she can be called a waitress, as no waiting of tables is taking place here,) to bring your food and your bottled drink, and you will be waiting a while, seems that the kitchen is understaffed. No complementary chips here. The place is located in a somewhat rundown strip mall, and there is not much parking. The interior of the restaurant is also run down and unkempt, it is not dirty, but there are boxes and crates of empty bottles in the dining room. I found the music to be too loud and not in keeping with the "Monterrey" motif. I would conclude by saying this place is take out only. Monterrey style competitors do a better job for those that prefer to dine in.

Tried this place for the 1st time. I was in the area and I searched for tacos on google maps, and this place popped up with thousands or reviews and good rating. In my opinion this tacos are authentic Mexican cuisine, but Monterrey style. I had a “pirata” which is a quesadilla with fajita meat, and a “gringa” which is a quesadilla with pastor meat. My favorite was the gringa, although the meat was a bit greasy; which is common with they way pastor is usually made. The place inside doesn’t look super clean; but maybe its the perception you get from the style of floors and color of walls. Cashier and waitress were good, normal; nothing outstanding when it comes to customer service. I really like that they have photos of the dishes on the menu. In this place You come in, place the order with the cashier, then have a seat and they bring the food out to you. Will likely return to try other dishes.

This is the first time coming here. You walk into mid restaurant and place your order. Most of the menu items are posted on the wall. The atmosphere was quiet for the most part, with some music playing in the background. I ordered the 5 mini tacos. I will say out of all the different places that I've eaten real tacos at, this place is the best. My husband makes the best tacos. I'm talking about the real corn taste in the tortilla that is cooked in lard with bomb seasoned bistec. Nobody has ever been able to top my husband's tacos. This place was a close 2nd. They were really good. My husband ordered the menudo. Now, for me, menudo is a hit or miss. It was definitely a miss for this place. It's smelled of poop. The smell was so strong..... terrible!!! My husband ate it. Me, I'm sorry, I would not be able to get past the smell. But try it if you dare.

Well they get a little less than one star today for two issues in one visit, but less than one star that's not an option so I guess one star will work. (I must admit, the food is awesome, I love it.) I went in today and order two tacos to-go because I was at work and very short on time. I gave the cashier with Pink Hair a 20 dollar bill and she hands be back 4 ones, shorting me 10 dollars. I noticed right away and told her, I couldn't really tell if it was an accident or not but she gave me the 10 without hesitation. Oh well right, well I get my food and head back to the office, just to notice I only had one taco to eat for a 12 hour shift, and now I have no time to go back. This is very disappointing. Get it together guys, the food is good but customer service it more important to me. Please check you have the correct change and double check your to-go orders...
