Taqueria El Sol de Mexico — Restaurant in Houston

its now called taqueria el Sol de mexico... but I think its still the same with different name....its good food...hand made tortillas yummy....what is funny is that its suppose to be Mexican and there is salvadorenan or hondurenan waitresses... I guesss everyone needs a job....but they should at least know the Mexican name for the side orders.... I asked one of the waitresses for Chile con queso and she had to ask another one CU's she didn't know what it was....and I think she thought I couldn't afford a bigger size of Chile con queso CU's she brought me the smallest one she had... about 2 spoons ...really 2 spoons...I had to tell her that I wanted the bigger size...funny... 2 spoons for 4...

I hope the owner read this ! Poor quality food tiny enchiladas with nacho cheese 🧀 that’s not cool . No salsa either. It was really upsetting. Small portions of chips with no refill the salsas where watery. The waitress gave me a a shrimp burrito with a small kid plate . The shrimp tested boil shrimp with really loose beans no avocado . Shrimp supposed to be seasoning and sautéed for a better flavor I would not recommend to people that loves authentic Mexican food or has knowledge about food . The only thing I liked was the waitress service. End of the day I hope my review would help the owner bring more quality to the tables and satisfaction. Quality...

Young man and young lady in front very nice greeters but then you get a short hispanic waitress with leaves on her forearms and just throws all those nice manners out the windowthe. This was the greasiest dried runny food ever. Ordered a small quesadilla for my 5 yr old. (Greasy had to put it on napkin for the grease to be soaked.) Picture provided. Then I ordered a sope (leg) meat was hard and dry. Left it. My 8 yr old orders the taco fajita salad...meat hard, runny cheese,and to top it all the threw in some chunks of peppers.
