Dollar Tree — Local services in Bellaire

Made the mistake of trying this NASTY LOCATION again in November 2023. The store is STILL one of the most horrible retail stores I have ever been in. The employees offer ZERO ASSISTANCE and every aisle is cluttered with merchandise and boxes and the entire store is A TOTAL FILTH PIT. I would NEVER ALLOW SMALL CHILDREN TO GO IN THIS WRETCHED STORE for fear of injury from the obstructive clutter or illness from the FILTH.

Horrible location and management! I didn’t realize since it was not posted that DOLLAR TREE DOES NOT DO RETURNS anymore - ONLY EXCHANGES. I ran into that policy at the Bissonnet location dealing with a rude nasty female manager. She grudgingly did the exchange but she REFUSED TO RETURN MY CREDIT CARD RECEIPT THAT HAD NUMEROUS NON-EXCHANGED ITEMS ON IT. At one time every item was $1 at Dollar Tree but now all items (greeting cards are still $0.50) are at least $1.25 and many are several dollars. One time a few months ago I called that same store to verify the hours, went to the store 15 minutes later (3 hours before closing time) and the lights were on but the doors were locked. By far the very worst Dollar Tree example I've EVER seen. I gave them a month just incase it was a one time bad example but this is what I found today. This is 30 days later. The owner obviously doesn't care about the Example he/she's giving as a Dollar Tree franchise. The employees except for one younger lady are not courteous nor helpful. The 2 young men I seen the first time spent more time giving dirty looks and talking to each other, playing on their phones, or playing with each other than cleaning up messes or stocking shelves. Just didn't know a place could legally as a food store be this dirty, disorganized, and cluttered with filth everywhere. Most every shelf was mixed together items improperly placed to where some of the same items were three places in the store. Garbage everywhere, uncleaned up spills, and water puddles with no "Wet Floor" signs. I had to squeeze like 20 bags of licorice to find 5-6 soft ones that weren't brick hard. The Licorice was in 5 different places as well. Pictures are worth a thousand words. Remember it was this bad THIRTY days ago....

My expectations for every Dollar Tree is very low. But I can say this is my least favorite location by far. Very very messy. Everything is on the floor. I was literally stepping on merchandise. I couldn’t even look at some products due to boxes in the way. One of the associates was walking around the store playing her music loud. At least have some headphones in. Then as I was ready to checkout there were two light registers open but no one there and the other associate with the pink hair just starred at me with all my stuff in my hand and continued doing what she was doing. Then let some people cut in front of me. Now she’s lucky she caught me on a good day and I wasn’t trying to deal with no bs. Now I know which dollar tree to avoid. Poor...
