Tekila Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Houston

It was not a bad experiance, untill i orderd a meal to go came for my lunch brake, i got me a chiken brest and beans n rice, i payed $15and some change, payed at the register w my my card.. girl tells me to sign and i did, when she got the recit her mood changed like if she was expecting me to tip her or leave a tim.. mind you its my firt time in this place, money aint the problem with me but, if a bussiness is going ti sell and retain customers make sure you are serving good desent portions for the buck, well i get to work and opend my plait, ther was a small peace of chiken brest in my plait with a small portion of rice and a small scoop of beans i laughed n said reallyyyy!!! N the salad that was pormmissed was in the smallest cup you could think of. Well was not satisfied and just want to give heads up to whom ever picks up to go dont waist your time on stopping because ull b disappointed on the portions they serve you when u order food ther... never again!!! I hope the owner reads this and change the way they serve thos plates to go. If im gona waist $15 or $16 for a dinner plait make it the best experiance ever not a waist of time and ripping...

Food was okay, except the charro beans tasted like they were made with dirty water! The "bar" had 2 empty bottles of liquor and no bar stools. A kids corner next to the "bar" was disturbing. We were 1 of 2 customers and waitress was not very attentive. At one point I got up and got my own drink because she never came back and asked for a refill. The table next to us had food on the floor underneath it. I never saw no one there before and the food stayed there till we left even though there were just two customers inside. Would most definitely never return to this...

Nicely decorated location with a Mexican theme on the walls. Plenty of seating during lunch time. Friendly waitress, was fast to bring out chips and salsa and take a drink order. However it took a while for her to come back and take the meal order. The prices are very low compared to other Mexican restaurants. The food portions are decent in size and taste good. Full bar serving liquor and beer. The down side was that the waitress did not check on my table after the food was brought out and I had to actively flag her down to...
