A cousin organized a family reunion at this location. I'm told they gave us a large room for no fee so that is great. It was my first visit and I was not impressed by the atmosphere, cleanliness or service. The whole building inside and out needs work and cleaning. I ordered a beer and a water early on before most had arrived. I had to ask for the water three times before I received it. We had a large crowd, filling four tables and one server. I placed an order for an appetizer and entree. Everyone at my table was served their meals and had completed them before I got my appetizer. The loaded potato skins were alright. They had chicken, bacon and cheese on them yet were still bland. It came with a very thin, runny marinara sauce so I asked for ranch instead and that helped. I was glad to have them because my pork chop along with a handful of other entrees took a really long time to come out. The manager came out and offered to comp everyone's meals that had not yet been served and as he was speaking my pork chop came to the table. Not worth the $20 as the pork was rubbery and bland. The sauce had a good flavor. The mashed potatoes and asparagus were basic. I took it to go because everyone was leaving before I could get into it. I ultimately had a good time with family and their company really distracted from the underwhelming experience. I would not return.

A surprisingly quaint little italian restaurant that leans heavily on the tongue-in-cheek Spaghetti Western theme. While the decor is entirely Western film themed, the food is the classic Italian fare you would expect from any of the other Italian restaurants in the area. A fun combination that gives this place a little twist while keeping the food recognizable. Although, they do take a few liberties with the food titles in keeping with the theme. We came here to dine at night and the place was a bit lonely with plenty of seating available, whereas the bar was packed with Cooking Network on one TV and the football game on the other. The food itself was good to great. The tomato sauce on my 'Raviolo' was thankfully full of meat but a bit thin on the tomato, which is a minor gripe as my Ravioli was dense with beef and the Bowtie Pasta was full of chicken. Our calamari antipasta was also excellent. Also very happy with the portion sizes. Service was good and our waiter was extremely friendly although I think he may have also been the manager or bartender as well. Clearly very busy with the packed bar but doing his best. No genuine complaints but nothing besides the decor really stood out for me. I mainly focus on food quality but if you're someone that cares more about servics then this place is probably more for you.

Ok, loved it! Came in on a weeknight so it wasn't that busy. Lots of Uber Eats orders were noted. Upon entering we noted the western theme with a large center bar and great vibes. They were playing 80's music playing featuring songs we hadn't heard in 20 years! It was great. Service was quick and friendly. Literally, waitstaff will visit your table leisurely so that you can ask questions about the menu. We never felt rushed or in the way. They do a great happy hour Italian Margarita. Order one...or 3, they are worth it. As soon as we sat down, the friendly waitstaff let us know they had fresh breadsticks in the oven that would be out momentarily. Even if breadsticks aren't on your favorites list, you will love these. As you wait for your entrée, we ordered the side Caesar Salad. It was crispy, flavorful and served on a chilled plate. Delicious. We also ordered the Chicken Marsala and the Formal Wear Pasta. Both were huge portions and were served hot and fresh from the kitchen. We literally, can't wait to be in the area to have dinner here again.

I had the most embarrassing experience of my life at this restaurant. The owner, Tyler, was very unprofessional and rude. I sat at the end of the bar and ordered a kid's spaghetti and meatballs (I did it before, so I didn't think it was an issue), and the server did not say anything to me about it, when I odered. I ate and asked for my check, but they charged me for a half spaghetti and meatballs, rather than a kid's, so a few dollars more expensive. Well, I only had the amount I thought it would be when I walked in available on my card, and had I been told beforehand that they would be charging me that price, I would not have eaten there. Anyway, I told the owner that I was not expecting to be charged this amount, since I had ordered the kid's portion, and he proceeds to explain that kid's portions are just for kids. Ok, I get it. I didn't argue with him. I was very understanding. Well, my card gets declined, so I try another (which I thought would cover it, but I was unaware of a charge that recently went through), so it also got declined. He was very loud about my cards getting declined, basically informing everyone at the bar... then proceeded to tell me multiple times, "this isn't a soup kitchen." When I checked my account and told him how much I had, he told me he would take care of the bill in a very annoyed tone. I informed him that I was not trying to get free food, and I insisted that he allow me to at least pay for a kid's meal, rather than nothing at all, and he wouldn't let me, and continued telling me, "this isn't a soup kitchen" loud enough for everyone around to hear. Well, I'm also 7 months pregnant, so my hormones are kind of wacky, right now. I sat in my car and cried for about 30 minutes before I could compose myself enough to go back into work (I was on my lunch break). I will never go back there. There was absolutely no reason for him to publicly humiliate...

Ok I have been eating at Speghetti Western for years on Shepherd. I rarely go to TC Jester location but today I made the mistake and did . I ordered the lunch special which comes with Entree, salad and a drink. I had eaten at Shepherd location the day before and usually atleast twice a week, so I know lunch the special for $12 includes Entree, salad, drink and bread . When I received my bill I noticed that I was charged for the drink. I notified my waiter who happened to be part owner. His response was quite sassy "I just made the decision that drinks are no longer included. I have 2 kids in college"

I thought to myself I really could care less how many kids you have in college. His response was totally inappropriate. He must really be hard up to charge a long time customer for a couple of ice teas. Maybe he needs a gofundme? I will never step foot in the TC Jester location again. The TC Jester location looks abandoned to me. I thought they were closed at first glance from the looks of the outside and the umbrellas were torn and needed replacing, not to mention I was the only one in there at lunch time . Truly a frustrated owner taking it out on a customer. Good luck Buddy you need the money more than I do. Thats why I left you a $6 tip. Hopefully this will help your kids college fund.

I called the shepherd location to find out if they owned both locations and was told there are 2 owners. One owner runs shepherd and the other TC Jester. Truly the Shepherd location and wait staff are by far superior in my opinion and a better decision if you wish to have an enjoyable meal and service and not be charged for a drink when it comes with your meal. I will certainly avoid TC Jester in the future as will my large group of friends. Those 2 ice teas cost you more than you will ever know.

Thank...

I happen to have both M.S.& Ehlers Danlos, but have ordered from the Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe with 100% success! (No getting sick) I've received tantalizing flavors to tempt the most discriminating palates; while feeling the warmth of home cooking in every bite. The Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe offers some of the highest quality service, foods, & flavors in Houston. With their added touch of personal care; I can comfortably recommend The Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe to all! If you're looking for the highest quality hand made dishes, followed by the highest quality decadent desserts, look no further. Their cannolis are absolutely superb. Their cheesecake has the perfect complementary amount of whipped cream drizzled with a Heavenly strawberry sauce, the main course; which for me was the cheese tortellini with added shrimp, mushrooms and tomatoes, was cooked to perfection, in a white wine cream sauce. Their attention to quality & details is unmatched. In our new world of 'at home dinners out,' The Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe may quickly become a new family favorite. They add a touch of sophistication to delicious meals that rival the best Italian resturants Houston has to offer. a The Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe is an absolute must try. They won my heart with their cannoli filling, but keep me coming back through their attention to detail in every dish ordered, and their must have desserts! Try them yourself, and...
