Fantastic, fast, and an ideal tortilleria situated in a great location with easy access from Bellaire, Gulfton, West U, and the Galleria / Post Oak. Fresh corn tortillas are slightly thicker than what one typically finds, making them wholly suited to barbacoa tacos at home and can hold to the rigors of thicker chunks of tasty fajita meat.

Don't let the small (yet colorful) exterior fool you - what awaits inside is nothing more than a pure gem that offers everything you need in a one-stop shop of the senses. There is a small counter space for dine-in as they serve food staples (carne asada, etc,.) but this is mostly to-go.

We've been coming to this location for the past 10 years or so. They do make good tortillas. Unfortunately as the years have gone by the service has declined. The past few times I've stopped by the ladies have a sour attitude. I can deal with that no problem but the other issue is that their cleanliness and organization has also declined. Leaves me wondering how long some items have been on the shelf. When buying some packaged cesina they hold in the refridgerated coolers there were like 5 packages with past due dates, I quickly stopped and reconsidered buying the queso and cesina. Just my honest opinion. I guess it's time to find another...

They have excellent tacos ready to go (counter service) . This is the place to get BREAKFAST egg tacos with or without chorizo ready to go and Spanish rice and beans , green or red pork stew, and other ready-to-go Mexican foods.
