First time here by suggestion of a friend. Kinda dug the dark corner we sat in and the vibey alternative rock. Probably would go back for wings and a beer but wasn't too impressed by my order. My favorite was James, the young waiter, who was very attentive and fun. I ordered the teriyaki grilled wings and the drunken chicken sandwich. My friend ordered some coconut shrimp and a burger with an onion mushroom sauce. Wings were great and tasted like right off the charcoal grill!! The coconut shrimp was ok. My friend didn't like the over-doness. My sandwich was not so good. The bread was good. Not garlic-y tho. Very little vodka suace, with the name like drunken chicken- I'm thinking sloppy and saucy, and the chicken was not tasteful at all. Like just bread crumbs an no love. My friend's burger looked like they had just opened a can of mushrooms and dumped it on the burger.... no onion mushroom sauce, and the bun was way too oversized for that lil frozen burger. Suffice it to say, it was taken off the bill! Thanks James!! I don't know if whoever was cooking that day was angry.... or if they had a breakup but no love in the seasoning. Don't live in that area so I can't say I'd go out of my way to go back.

Stopped at The Ivy League for lunch. It was not crowded but, it was a Monday. Easy and off entry via Route 9 North. A very large parking lot with ample handicapped parking with ramps. The lot is paved and with outside light poles. We were promptly greeted and seated with attentive service. Our waitress was friendly and answered all our question. We started with a Draft Bud lite and an Old Fashioned. Beer was cold, crisp and fresh to the taste while, the Old Fashioned was average in taste. Next, was the Parmesan Garlic Wings. This was a WINNER! The wings were fried but, dressed with a garlicky parmesan paste with a touch of parsely. The wings were cooked to perfection and not over fried. I would recommend trying them inside of the other traditional wing sauce. For our main entrees were the Bacon Turkey Avocado BLT. The sandwich was thick and fresh. This is a big sandwich. I had the fresh beef burger with with mushroom and onion sauce and I added the blue cheese topping. Both sandwiches came with delicious onion rings. Overall our lunch cost us $65.

My father and I came here on a Wednesday night and sat in the bar area. We ordered a pitcher of sangria for $21, which is a great bargain and tasty as well. For entrees, my father got a bowl of excellent split pea soup (heavy on bits of ham so not vegetarian by any means) and I ordered the kielbasa, cheese, and vegetable stuffed fried pork chops featured below. It was a special and one I would definitely go back for again! Very flavorful and juicy, with quality ingredients. We started with a half order of their chili-covered nachos. They were very good; loaded with veggies, cheese, chili, and sour cream, and plenty big for 2-3 people to split. Lastly, we got a side Caesar salad that was good but nothing to write home about.

It was a cute little place right across from a place my boyfriend and I were staying for the weekend…. Waiting staff were friendly and service was quick (nobody was wearing a mask if that’s something important to your preference). Ambience was cute, and there were plenty os seating in dining area and bar. My boyfriend ordered a Manhattan clam chowder; it was ok. I ordered a french onion soup; it was the worst I’ve had. Watered down and very bland. Left over half of the soup. We ordered Lobster quesadillas…. There were barely any lobster and it came with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. That’s it. When we asked for sour cream, the waitress said that she will bring more. Bring more??? We didn’t even get any. The sharing plates they gave us were dirty, had guacamole or something on the bottom of the plates. The waitress took them back and gave us new ones. My boyfriend got the French dip; didn’t have any cheese but at least it tasted good. I got the seafood linguini for my entree. It tasted so bland, so watery, I don’t even know what happened to it. I gave the scallops to my boyfriend because he likes them. The clams were okay. The shrimp you can tell were the frozen ones that were already peeled, cut, and cleaned. I tried putting salt, pepper and even gratef parmesan cheese, but I just could not get it to taste any better, the garlic bread that came with it (2 pieces) also had no love. Literally the food just had no love. I took a few bites of the linguini and i left the rest. The one good thing about the night was that they had red wine and almost filled my glass up to the top (never had anyone fill a glass of wine past half). And the caesar salad was great! All in all, the bill was about $85 for a very tasteless, less than mediocore meal. Like I stated before, the waiting staff was very friendly and they even returned my debit card back to me when I accidently left it after I paid my bill. But I will not come back for the food and definitely do...

I was looking for a place to eat and decided on this joint. When we walked inside, I knew I made a terrible decision. This place is awfully dated and needs to be revamped (The dining area specifically). The bar area isn't far behind. It's the type of place that older folks frequent for a bite to eat.

The food reminds me of the older places that I used to eat as a kid (back in my hometown). It's nothing special. Everything is done in the most basic way. My burger was supposed to have Cajun spices, yet I tasted nothing at all. The jalapeƱos were diced so small and weren't enough of them. I would have prefered whole slices like the 90% of other places. I also asked for it to be cooked medium. I knew I should have said rare because it came out well freaking done. And I would have sent it back, but I was too hungry to care and didn't want to wait for another one while my company ate. My friend got the chicken parmigiana over pasta and we had to send it back. The chicken tasted "off". I tried a bite and she was right. There was something wrong with the taste of the chicken. I should also mention that there was not enough sauce. There was no extra for the noodles. So it was like eating them plain. We sent that back and she didn't get anything else because she was so put off by it. Her toddler ordered the kids chicken finger with fries. That was probably the best thing we ordered. For $2 more you are better off ordering the regular platter of them though. The kids platter isn't worth $7.99. Plus you can take the extra home for another meal.

As for the customer service, our waitress was pleasant and attentive. She was nice enough to remove the chicken parmigiana from our bill. There was even crayons for myt friends toddler to draw on the place mats while we waited for our food to come out.

All-in-all, I doubt we will be back because of the mediocre food. There are better places to eat with...

If I could I wouldn’t give this place any stars, most horrible place I’ve ever been for dinner. Let’s start with a host who throw the menus on the table and disappeared without telling us where to sit, next comes the waitress who finally appeared after 30 mins of waiting, here comes the food review, disgusting, drenched in oil and very salty appetizer we ordered fried calamari, of course we had to ask for plates and the way she dumped the plates on the table I’m grateful she didn’t hit us in head. Next comes the main dish I ordered Wisconsin Burger medium rear, I regretted I didn’t take a picture of the food, burger was absolutely rear blood was licking out when I removed so called cheese sauce which looked like a Velveta melted cheese dumped with a table spoon, lettuce was like a whole bunch ripper off the lettuce head. I swear to God I’m not exaggerating, all I had for dinner was FF. Oh almost forgot, there’s no music, you’ll feel like you’re having a dinner in nursing home cafeteria. Shame on owners, shame on administrators and unfriendly waiters. That was my first time and definitely will be the last, I’ll make sure none of my family and friends will spend $ there ever. My suggestion is think twice before you decide...
