The Caffeine Haven — Restaurant in Howell Township

HOWELL: The Caffeine Haven is an awesome new coffee shop right off of Route 9 in Howell and they are dog friendly! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed to join you inside and relax, work, or just hang out with a freshly brewed beverage and baked snack in a warm and inviting environment. You can get everything from traditional dripped coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks. The banana cream latte is excellent and they also have seasonal offerings. There are also a bunch of syrups, toppings, and non-dairy milk options to customize your drink. Freshly baked goods are a delicious treat to pair and give you a boost in your day. It is extremely rare to find a coffee shop with great coffee and great vibes, it is usually one or the other, but seldom both; But when I tell you, I have found the perfect Cafe with both I really mean it!

It was the tiramisu latte that originally drew me in, making me a regular at this place! Just the right amount of cold foam, just the right amount of sweetness with cookie crumble on top? Sold!

Now they have unleash their lineup for the winter time and it is nothing short of incredible! The peppermint mocha is my go to, the sugar cookie is also incredible. Went out of way to come here instead of Starbucks or any chain coffee shop and they would not make my order not would they help me or try to work with me. Just wanted a latte with one shot of espresso instead of two and they told me no because it wouldn’t taste right with their machine. Using the machine as an excuse is unacceptable and saying a single shot would change the taste or make it bitter is incorrect. I wanted one shot so it would not be bitter and they had a single shot on the menu but wouldn’t let me order that with a side of steamed milk. What a waste of my time.
