BIGGBY COFFEE — Restaurant in Howell

Tried new ciabatta toasted cheese that has bacon on it. Asked if the bacon can be crispy. Server replied "I don't know what crispy is, I don't eat bacon so I don't even know what that means." Asked if he could just cook the bacon a little longer, he replied "He didn't know how, and The bacon is precooked" which means it is still limp and greasy. I asked if he could just microwave it or something, he mumbled something like "there is no microwave, well there is one but its behind stuff and I don't know how to use it"? Then he handed me the sandwich, which did indeed have limp half raw bacon on it and walked into the back room, ignoring me. The store was empty at the time so they were not busy. I live a couple hours away (and a Biggby regular at a few in my area), but I still have friends in Howell, so I visit this location 2-3 times a year. They have always been kind to me, and always staffed with talented baristas. I have never heard of them messing up an order when I am there (I stay 1-2 hours per time). Today, I had the manager Alexandra as my order taker, and she nailed the customized drink order perfectly. I love this location and the staff...

I’m from Lansing so I’ve grown up with Biggby. After moving to Howell I went to go visit my new ‘home’ Biggby location and was pretty disappointed. The staff was not very friendly or helpful. I ordered one mallow hot chocolate and a dark hot chocolate with mallow added. Got home, less than two miles away, and our drinks were less than luke warm and both were regular hot chocolate with mallow. Just used to a higher standard of service and drinks...
