This is the most generous Chinese restaurant in Livingston county. I can assure you that every meal that they make it is absolutely delicious and you get more for your money from their generosity. Five stars is not enough for this group of wonderful people that create the food. Theyāre hot and sour sauce. I prefer dining in here, freewater enough sauces for you to have enough for your food and they are real friendly people. Please consider this as one of your dying locations. It is well worth the visit. Thehot and sour soup is the best. My wife laughed her head off about the freewater thing. Everybody gives free water OK so I goofed but anything else with the freewater is absolutely delicious. OK the water is good too thanks bye
Two days later, I enjoyed a huge lunch on the leftovers that I couldnāt eat at the restaurant. I took their fried rice and spread it out in a skillet and cooked it because the rice had turned dry cooks recommended just frying it in a pan when I did that the entire rice Became moist hot and delicious. Do not microwave leftovers. When I spread out the rice to eat it, I looked carefully and I realize this isnāt just fried rice. It is an absolute mystery surprise. You will find pieces of chicken, beef mushrooms, sugar, peapods, carrots, onions, and since I ordered shrimp, it just added to the meal. I stirred the whole thing up together. My original dish was shrimp with vegetables, and I added a bunch of peapods to my order. This is the best fried rice I have ever had in the state of Michigan, this is truly the five stars and every dish that accompanies the fried rice is complemented by its flavor and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am on a quest to find the best almond boneless chicken (ABC) that Livingston County has to offer, and this was my first stop. TLDR: I sure hope this is not it.
The food was hot, fresh, and a large portion. The price was also very reasonable. It was ready on time, and the service was great too.
Specific to my ABC order, there was silvered almonds and the chicken itself was really good. Nice tempura batter, thick and juicy chicken breast, but not too much fat. However, there was no lettuce bed for the dish, and the gravy was not great. It was grainy and did not taste right. Since the gravy is what makes this dish (almost as much as the chicken itself) this was a huge disappointment.
The other dings are that the chicken fried rice did not have much flavor. It did have nice, juicy hunks of chicken in it but was otherwise just meh. The egg roll was large, but almost exclusively full of ground chicken. There was little to no vegetables in it at all. This is better than being full of "shitty lettuce" but not quite what I expected.
Overall, I will try them again for a different dish. Hopefully their sweet and sour chicken takes the best parts of the ABC but fixes the worst, as other reviews...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to after my recent visit. The food here was a complete letdown. The fried rice was nothing more than plain white rice with soy sauce tossed on top ā no flavor, no veggies, no effort. Iāve had better fried rice from a microwave dinner.
The crab dish was equally bad, featuring what appeared to be pre-packaged imitation crab that looked more like processed cheese sticks than anything remotely related to actual seafood. It was rubbery and tasteless, with no texture or freshness to it.
To top it off, the sweet and sour sauce was clearly just canned Gordon Foods stuff, straight from the bulk section. It had no depth or authenticity, just a sugary mess that ruined any hope for the meal.
Overall, a totally underwhelming and uninspired experience. I wonāt be coming back, and I would suggest looking elsewhere for a satisfying...
