Scofield park — Attraction in Howell

Very nice small beach you have to purchase a park pass but well worth it very small but clean beach with bathrooms and across the street is a park that has a couple gazebos you could rent out for birthdays or parties plenty of barbecues on the other side of the beach where the park is it's nice and quiet if you want a beach that's more low-key and don't want all of the madness this is definitely a place to check out they also have a volleyball net and a decent sized parking lot but if you're in the Howell area and are looking for a beach to go to I promise you this is the one they also have a concession stand that was open that sells snacks and beverages...

Would be higher but was unaware of payment for parking until we reached the concessions. By the time we figured out where to pay, we already had a $30 ticket. Realized the pay booth had been surrounded by a large group of people when we drove in and had no signage. Scofield park used to be an enjoyable place to take your children and grands. The current condition of the beach area is quite pitiful. No longer is there concessions. The goose poop is plentiful. The bathrooms are dirty and smelly, Hand driers inoperable. Others may feel the same, hardly any visitors these days. Once a good thing gone sour....
