Staff is very rude and the female owner makes excuses for their behavior and tries to make it seem as if the customer is wrong and a liar. They are a scam. Check your receipts next time. They push the clocks/cash registers ahead so if you order within the last 15 minutes of happy hour trust me when I say they will charge you the regular price. I had ordered in the drive thru. When I got to the window I found out the customer ahead of me had put $5 towards my happy hour purchase. I should have only been paying a dollar or two difference but once I got home I realized that I was charged regular price for my happy hour purchase. When I called, the manager TOLD ME that the clocks are set ahead and that is just how their system works. The next day I went up there and the owner was acting like she didn't see what the problem was. I told her I wanted the overcharged price put back on my card. She loudly yelled no refunds and after standing at the window for 10 plus minutes and making a scene she hands me a coupon for a free smoothie. I don't want a watered down smoothie I want my money back. Not to mention while I was at the window I witnessed employees come right in and start working without washing their hands. They got the smallest DQ in the county and have the nerve to be rude and unprofessional. They need to take some tips on how the Market Street boardman location makes their chili because the chili at this Hubbard location is nasty. I wouldn't feed it to my...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst customer service I have ever witnessed at any Dairy Queen establishment. Workers continue to be unwilling to reason with customers or act like service is a top priority. Among countless mistakes concerning orders and long wait times (due to their own carelessness) we are fed up with this location and will be letting others know the problems that persist here. This may be why most in our town of Hubbard, Ohio prefer Webbs ice cream as an alternative option. I am disgusted by the worker and manager’s attitudes and work ethics which are no where near the standard in which they should be operating. Recently, what pushed us over the edge, was the stubborn and aggressive attitude aimed toward a young lady ordering food in the drive thru line. Not only did she sit in the line (which was stretched out far beyond Youngstown-Hubbard road), but, after waiting patiently in their rather slow-moving queue, was blatantly rejected her order at 8:30 due to their own mishaps and impatience regarding their customers. I will not be returning here, and am furious with the staff, service and operation of this branch - I will ensure they do not receive any credit regarding quality workforce and management. A simply garbage location which should not be allowed to continue...
Read moreWorthy of it's 4 Michelin Stars, this DQ is above and beyond laverish! The service is impeccable and unmatched, the wait staff treats you like an old friend. From the woman at the coat check-in, to the chef bringing out the food to thank you for ordering, everyone goes above and beyond. I came here with my wife, (normally it's out of our price range, but I just cashed out my 401k after 42 years at Wells Fargo, keep working on that back swing Pete! You'll get me on the range one day!) Anyways, we come here and even knowing we'll never come again, the staff made sure to know that we deserve just as great service as anyone else! And don't get me started on the ambiance! A small, dim lit, atmosphere, with a fire that cast a warm reflection on the vintage Robert Mondavi wine collections that stacked the walls, this DQ could not have felt more embraceful. I'd love to thank our personal chef, Montery Stephanõ Giovanni, who dipped my waffle cone into a luscious fountain of the hottest, flowing suede of Belgian chocolate, and to the local farmers of Venezuela who grew the succulent peaches that were harvested for my wife's Peach Cobbler Blizzard. Thank you for the most memorable night...
