Mi Ranchitos — Restaurant in Hubbard Township

Ok yall I don't know if this used to be 'the place' but as a guy that's eaten mexican food all his life I felt compelled to write this since it was rated 4.6 The salsa was meh I ordered the fajitas and it was grey ish meat that has never seen a grill. It wasn't flank, skirt, or steak period. It was more like pot roast meat that had been stewed. The rice want bad but the beans weren't good.. I don't know how this place got so many good reviews. New owners? 370 friends write a review for them? It was Saturday noon ish and not a sole was there or came in while I was there. Sorry to whoever owns this place but others need to know it's not a 4.6 anymore. My beer was cold though....

Ordered 4 beef tacos to go, that costs over $12. The lady that rung me out was so nice, but her boss thought it would be smart to try and swindle more money from me because I asked for a very small cup of hot sauce. $1 for a cup or $3 for the bottle..... I'm sorry, but that is just greed. The tacos don't taste THAT great. It needs hot sauce, which should have been no charge at all. Kind of ridiculous to charge for an off brand condiment if you ask me. Completely turned off from it, and will not be back. There are too many Mexican restaurants around here that I will give my business to that aren't greedy to their few customers to make up for lack...

The waitress who sat us was VERY impersonal and uncommunicative. Once sat & drinks received we were asked to move due to a party coming in. That party didn't even end up close to where we were originally seated. 25 min later, at the bar, we FINALLY get our order taken & our waitress was VERY inconsiderately apologized. LUCKILY....the food was very very good! Which took my 2 star rating to a 3.

Regardless, everything in a whole if looking for good food, I would recommend BUT be prepared to have no authentic interactions with any of your servers. If looking for a great experience overall I would probably recommend somewhere else. Hope...
