I have been a long time customer of Dynamite, but was disheartened when the prior owners stepped down and passed the torch on to new people. My family and I were hesitant to immediately try things out when the new owners took over so we waited. Today was our first time we decided to order food, thinking what's the worst that could happen...apparently a lot.

We placed an order for 4 items, some simple sushi rolls and a noodle dish. Pretty standard, nothing flashy. We were originally given a estimated time of 20-30mins, which for a Friday seemed pretty good. That's where we were mistaken. Within a few minutes that time frame jumped to an hour. Not a deal breaker but a little rough. When I arrived to pick up our food, I was informed that over the few minutes it took to get there, our order was pushed back another 20mins. I then spent 35 minutes waiting in the front lobby until my food was finally ready. I was at least comforted in my frustration by a few other people who were in the same dilemma as me waiting in the lobby.

Upon bringing the food home, we found the sushi to be almost inedible. The fish inside had a strange slimy consistency and the avocado in some of the pieces seemed to have gone bad. The only decent thing was the noodle dish, but it was bland and nothing to write home about.

My advice to those willing to give this new management team and the restaurant a try. Don't order out, they seem to struggle the moment they have more than one order to process at a time. Additionally I'd say, don't go in with high expectations, set them somewhere in the middle. We only got to sample a small portion of what the new team has to offer, so hopefully there's some good things that you'll...

Decided to branch out and try the "hidden gem" of Hudson. I was truly disappointed by the price, wait time and taste of the food.

For starters I ordered a "large" miso soup and received what many other restaurants in the area serve as a small (demonstrated by me pouring the soup into small container received the other day from another sushi restaurant). The Miso soup was delivered in a styrofoam cup to which I transferred into a plastic container I normally receive my SMALL miso soup in. Besides being over charged for soup, the taste was mediocre at best and tasted old.

The pad Thai portion is MUCH SMALLER than other restaurants around and cost at least $4.00 more depending on how you get it. On top of that had a very strong fish oil taste, and yes I know fish oil is used for pad Thai but I have never truly tasted the fish oil as strong as this. I was upset at how great the meal looked and how flavorless the chicken turned out to be/ how strong the fish oil was. I ate the whole thing however, would I order again, no.

Was really hoping this would be my new spot however, after my first attempt I don't foresee me revisiting. If you like small portions, being overpriced and long waits, this...

This place is phenomenal. They have a long history of "Every meal is excellent, every time" in my experience. I have been ordering from Dynamite Sushi for several years. My first time eating here was around 2009. I ordered chicken noodle soup, no vegetables. And it is by far the best chicken noodle soup I have ever had from an oriental dining establishment.

I recently introduced my boss to Dynamite Sushi, and it has become his new favorite spot for sushi. Although a California Roll is the most basic and beginner type of sushi, I have to acknowledge their fried California roll. I had never heard of something similar before where the sushi is fried, but we were blown away.

Forgive me for not remembering her name; I also have to acknowledge the woman who usually works at the front desk and or waitress during lunchtime on the weekdays. She is super friendly and welcoming and always has a smile. She even remembers things about you if you come by more than once. I'm the "chicken noodle soup no vegetables" guy. 😁

They have some awards displayed in front of their lobby, and I can see why that is. Dynamite Sushi is my number one favorite sushi restaurant in all of...

We came here from an ad in Spectrum Monthly a few weeks ago wanting to try a new restaurant. I did not know this place existed and I drive by Hudson all the time. I finally found a place that serves Botan Ebi! I also had a spicy tuna sushi and was surprised by the different style it was made - wrapped up like an Ikura or Uni sushi! They also used a different, flavorful sauce for the spice! We had a hot and sour soup as well as the fried Gyoza. Both delicious and very fresh. My husband enjoyed his Spicy Don and I had the Tom Yum Ramen. The Spicy Don was very flavorful and saucy. The Tom Yum ramen was just a little spicy (I would say on the milder side of medium). It was tasty, but I wish the flavor was more strong! Our drinks were also delicious. Service-wise, our server was very polite and apologized for the wait. However, I didn’t feel like the wait was long at all! This was a nice, clean, and relaxing place. We will be back!

First off I want to say the food is always tasty here. I’m not harping on that at all, it’s just I spent 54 dollars on a yellow curry, one maki roll and a pad Thai. I don’t mind paying if it tastes good and there’s a decent amount of food but I feel like they give me less and less food every time I go. Would it kill them to give me a small box of rice heaven forbid a large white rice as it costs next to nothing to make. This is literally a bloop of white rice in a styrofoam box. Really disappointed as there doesn’t seem to be much chicken in the curry either. The pad Thai was awesome but the sushi roll was again very small for the price. I’ll have to dine in and see if there is a difference. Just my two cents.
