Friendly Red's — Restaurant in Hudson

Staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was quick. The outdoor seating was spacious and clean with a comfortable atmosphere. The food left a lot to be desired. My husband got a sandwich and fries which were fine, not bad by any means but not anything stellar. I got a half rack of ribs and could hardly eat them. It was so tough I was only able to cut the ends off using a steak knife (which I asked for because a standard knife couldn’t manage to make a dent). The waitress was very kind and asked if there were any issues since I ate only the fries and hardly touched the ribs and I let her know I couldn’t cut through it but I’ll just pack is up and bring it home. She did apologize but that was about it, she said she told her manager but no one ever came to talk to us or even look at the food. I felt bad because the waitress kept apologizing but because I said I’d bring it home the manager wouldn’t comp it (which honestly whatever but I think it would’ve been nice if the manager came out to check or speak to us first instead of making this poor waitress but I’ve never worked in a restaurant before so what do I know). I brought the ribs home because I don’t like wasting food and I already spent the money on it but even with a cutting board and my heavy duty knife I struggled to get any meat off of it because it was riddled with cartilage. I shouldn’t have bothered even bringing it home. Needless to say I left hungry and don’t plan...

I was not impressed with the food. Let's just say, I won't be coming here again. For the money, Temple Street diner or the yolk grill in nashua, you'll get hot coffee. Not luke warm, waiting for a refill that I never got.

The bloody Mary was watered down. I've had better in the carribean where they're notorious for watering down their booze. The bloody Mary was horrible. No taste, no flavor, just watered down colored tomato juice.

The hash, HOMEMADE: BUT.... 1st trim all fat off of it.

All my hash was fat. No meat. The eggs. Hard to screw up a omlette. But, was nasty. They screwed it up.

The home fries Not even cooked.

Im sorry. But this place was awful.

For the money. I will go to: Temple Street diner or The Yolk in nashua.

The prices here are cheap. But you get that you pay for.

I didn't think the quality of food or drink was very good.

Please don't even follow up with a EXCUSE There is no excuse for poor food quality.

There are MUCH BETTER BREAKFAST joints in the area.

Was NOT impressed. Was NOT worth the money. Servers also busy talking to each other. Never got or checked to see if I needed coffee, ketchup, hot sauce etc...

Other than that. I'll never return.

I’d give 6 if Ryan could hand-deliver it to the stars himself

Let me start by saying: the food was great. The ambiance? Cozy, warm, and just the right amount of trendy. But honestly, none of that even matters because Ryan — yes, the Ryan — was the true five-course experience.

From the moment we were seated, Ryan greeted us like we were long-lost royalty returning home. His smile? Brighter than the overhead lighting. His timing? Impeccable. Like, he knew we were ready to order before we even knew. I’ve seen trained surgeons with less precision than Ryan navigating a crowded dining room.

When he poured water, it wasn’t just hydration — it was a performance. When he recommended the salmon, I could hear the ocean calling to me. And when I asked for extra napkins, he brought them with the flair of a magician revealing the grand finale.

It’s hard to describe exactly what Ryan brought to the table (besides our food), but let’s just say that if every server had even 1% of Ryan’s charisma, the world would be a better place. I half-expected him to get a standing ovation by the end...
