Royal Pizza & Seafood — Restaurant in Hudson

I have lived around the area for a long time. I am always looking for the Seafood that I desire just like the Bostonians. Well I just found my Jewel. This family lives in this local comumity and is hard at work for you all. Their Seafood is brought in from Boston every other day and OMG.. So Fresh.... The baked seafood haddock and scallops and Fried Shrimp was beyond the BEST I have tasted. Not even the seacoast or Boston can match what they have done with there lightly butter bread crumb mixture. It has an herb I can't put my taste bud on but it is bye far something that should be hosted on TV. My grandkids loved the New Style thin crust cheese pizza that was amazingly different than other thick chewy stuff around here. Again the freshest ingredients!! And to think you don't even have to travel and pay the ourtragous fees for parking, surcharges and all that jaz. The owners will go out their way to make you feel part of the family!! Enjoy!!! P.S. Dont forget to ask about the pistachio layered...

I used to love this place and was a loyal customer for a long time. The food has always been solid, and I genuinely wanted to keep supporting them. But unfortunately, the last few times I’ve ordered, my order has been wrong— receiving a BBQ chicken pizza not a buffalo chicken pizza, getting a calzone instead of a pizza, things like that. I let it slide the first couple of times because I get that mistakes happen.

This time, though, I finally decided to speak up and let them know—and honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the response. All they offered was $5 off my next order, which felt like a brush-off more than a resolution, especially given the repeated issues. I’m not looking for freebies, just for my order to be right and for the service to reflect that they value their regular customers.

I really hope they tighten things up, because I’d love to go back to recommending them the...

We were attracted to Royal Pizza & Seafood by their online menu and word-of-mouth recommendations. The experience was less than encouraging. The hostess was pleasant and very helpful. But the food preparation is slow; I'm guessing they only have one person working the kitchen. We saw one group where some people got and consumed their meal before others in the group even got their food. And this was the only group (4 people) dining in the entire place. The layout of the place says that they don't expect to attract much business; only a small number of tables laid out in a strange and rather cramped way around an empty bar area that is almost too big for the number of potential customers if they were ever able to attract them. We had stopped in for a takeout order and had to wait quite a while. The food was only OK. We are unlikely to go back...
